2 REGULAR LOGIN (via computer connected to the internet): The system will require you to perform 2 steps: 1. Reset password - SAMPLE: Password$1 2. Setup Multi-factor authentication (aka MFA) RESET PASSWORD: Login as usual. Then, you ll be presented with the following: THEN (NEXT STEP ON NEXT PAGE)>> 2

3 SETUP MULTI-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION: Here you ll need to verify some contact information or add it as needed. We strongly suggest you complete all 3 items if you can: Mobile Phone # for text message, , Phone # for voice call. From here forward, when you login to the system from an unrecognized computer, the system will send you an additional 6-digit code to enter this code is sent to you via (your choice): text message, voice call, or . 3

4 THEN, the next time you login>>> The next time you login to the system via a computer connected to the internet, you will be required to enter a verification code that you choose to received via: TEXT MESSAGE PHONE CALL TIP: To avoid needing the verification code for each login, CLICK the box that will make that device a trusted device and you will not need the verification code so long as you login from that computer at least 1 time each 30 days. TIP: Text message is the fastest option. 4

5 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: What if I forget this new password? Same as before, contact your manager or payroll administrator; they can reset your password for you. What if I get a new cell number? What if I ve lost my cell phone? You ll need to ask your payroll administrator to clear your Multi-factor authentication settings. Then, the next time you login to the system from an internet connected computer, you ll go through setting up your phone number(s)/ where you want to receive your Multi-factor authentication codes. Will I need this verification code every time I login to my account from my computer? No, so long as that computer is a trusted device and you ve logged into your account from that computer within the past 30 days. You can check the box that reads: By checking this box., to set that computer as a trusted device. See screenshot on page 4 (previous page). What if our organization uses a kiosk for the web clock and employees use that computer to login to their personal system account too? Your Southwestern representative will help you setup that/those computer(s) to be a trusted device(s) so your employees will only need their username and new password when logging into their respective accounts using that computer (verification codes will not be required for logins via that computer). 5
