4 1 INTRODUCTION 1.1 Document Purpose This document was developed to provide a check list for certifying Chrysler / CG Mistake Proofing solution installations. Applicable to MP application version and higher. 1.2 Intended Users Vendors, Suppliers, OEMs. ASLM or local ITI personnel 1.3 Supporting Documentation The Chrysler documents listed below are instrumental in defining Mistake Proofing. 6 3 DETAILED CERTIFICATION 3.1 Hardware Visually inspect the following (you have to open the box after item #5) PASS Step Description 1. The MP Box is sound and there are no signs of physical damage, dents, 2. The connectors on the side of the panel are all secured and firm and labeled. 3. All power, network and I/O cables are in good condition and there are no signs of wire breaks on them. 4. The stack light/alarm Horn is properly installed. 5. Inside the box, all wirings are in place and are in good condition there are no signs of lose connections, frayed wires or pinched wires/cables. 6. All wires seem to be properly labeled. 7. The connection between MicroLogix unit and WinCE SBC is firm at both ends. and is on COM Port The SBC is totally enclosed and the metal back plate screws are secured. 9. The wiring diagram is attached inside the panel. General Comments: 3.2 Software This section to be performed after proper configuration of the box. PASS Step Description 10. Turn on the system and observe if all connected output lights turn on in sequence. (if it is configured to do so) 11. Verify proper communication connectivity of the system to the PLC. 12. Verify proper communication connectivity of the system to PFCS. 13. Verify the connectivity of both solicited and unsolicited. 14. Write down the MP application version (on the upper left corner of the main screen) here:. 15. Verify time and date are set up properly. 16. Go to Configuration screen and verify that all information in section 2.2 are correct. 17. 7 3.3 Operation Tests PASS Step Description 18. Make sure the PFCS WCC is properly configured for receiving and sending information. (Check with your PFCS Rep.) 19. Make sure PES rules are properly set up for this station. 20. Verify when download happens there is a one-to-one correspondence between the downloaded information (pick status indicator on the screen) and physical I/O. 21. Make sure Pass/Fail are the result of right/wrong picks and verify proper status of pick-status indicators and PASS/FAIL stack lights. 22. Emulate a PFCS disconnect by physically disconnecting/unplugging the Ethernet cable and verify the screen message and yellow stack light reflect this status. 23. Reconnect the ENET connection and verify clearing of the error conditions. 24. Open the MP box door and physically disconnect the PLC from WinCE by removing the serial connector, verify the screen message and yellow and red stack lights reflect this status. 25.
