1 ADDENDUM/AMENDMENT NUMBER 1 JANUARY 27, 2017 RIO RANCHO PUBLIC SCHOOLS RFP# IT Purchase of Miscellaneous Computer and Audio Visual Equipment DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS IS AS FOLLOWS: DUE DATE: Monday, February 6, 2017 TIME: 2:00 PM MST DELIVER TO: Rio Rancho Public Schools Purchasing Room Laser Road NE Rio Rancho, New Mexico The purpose of this amendment is to provide Rio Rancho Public Schools written response to the following list of questions that have been timely submitted and to amend and update the bid response form see attached AMENDED SECTION V RESPONSE FORM. IN RESPONDING TO THIS SOLICITATION, BIDDERS ARE TO UTILIZE THE FOLLOWING AMENDED RESPONSE FORM. Note, all other terms, conditions, specifications, requirements and criteria remain unchanged. Question #1: We would like to request an extension for the due date 2/20/2017 if possible. Response: At this point in time, we are unable to extend the due date. The equipment to be purchased will be used for the upcoming PARCC testing cycle. Question #2: Are questions due on 1/27/17 or 1/30/17? If due date is extended can this also be extended? Response: Question submittals are due no later than 5 days prior to the established bid due date.

2 Question #3: There are no services listed will there be a separate ITB for services? Response: We are anticipating putting out an RFP for services in the future. Question #4: Will local services and warranty support be required on all products on the ITB? Response: The successful bidders will be required to support the District with any warranty related issues that may come up. Question #5: Please reference the Note on page 3 is a self-maintenance program required for all products on the ITB? Response: Only for the chrome books Question #6: Will this be awarded as a whole or parted out individually according to best price? Response: RRPS reserves the right to award by line item. Question #7: Line Item #2 20kd 19.5 Monitor - The HP 20kd 19.5 is a consumer monitor we offer business models that come with a 3yr warranty with better specs, will this work? This is an AMD factory built but has the same 4GB video memory with all drivers already there ready to go vs NVIDIA requested? 3 Response: These machines are a higher grade model specific to our CAD program at the high school. We need the NVIDIA performance level for this classroom. Question #9: Line Item #11 HP Probook 650 -An HP Probook 650 is 15 inch screen and does not have a 10 digit numeric pad you must go 17 inch but neither model has a blu-ray drive? Would you prefer the 10 digit key pad on a 17 inch screen or the 15 in screen and no keypay? Would USB a USB external keypad or USB external blu-ray be an option? Response: According to HP s spec sheet, the HP Probook 650 G2 has a 10-key on a 15.6 inch screen. See attached spec sheet from HP. Question #10: Line item # 12 HP Folio Admin Laptops - Do you have specs you are looking for on the HP Folio laptops or any dock you prefer with numerous options? Response: HP Elitebook 1040 G3 with HP Ultra slim docking station and optional external video adapter or equal performance. The docking station needs to match the manufacturer s laptop docking station compatible list and needs to be the same name brand as manufacturer. Question #11: Line Item #14 Casio-XJ-V1-XGA - The new model is the same but has Casio-XJ- V2-XGA in the name now as the newer replacement mode is that ok? Response: This model is acceptable Question #12: Line Item #15 Adobe - Do you have a current VIP Adobe number we can reference to find your level of pricing with Adobe? Response: Our VIP number is E5B51BB3D07C4C1B743A Question #13: Docks - There seems to be a few at minimum dock options for the laptops? Do you prefer HP branded or a mode preference of HP which tend to be a little more money? Thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Response: The docking station needs to match the manufacturer s laptop docking station compatible list and needs to be the same name brand as manufacturer. Question #14: Is a 13 screen a mandatory spec on the ASUS or like brand chromebook? Response: Larger is acceptable - smaller screen sizes will not be considered.
