1 DKT Connector free Taps and Splitters with Plug In Modularity COMEGA CONFREE is a complete connector-free series of flexible high quality passives for application in last mile HFC networks or upgrading of old networks. CONFREE is designed to meet the demand for a cost effective coax solution in the trunk and distribution network providing tomorrow multimedia service and broadband transmission of both analog and digital signals. The CONnector FREE design using only cable shells put significant emphasis on cost reduction in the networks, either being upgraded for bidirectional transmission, or even green field networks, which can benefit from this comprehensive lines cost advantages. In line with the COMEGA series the CONFREE is manufactured according to the high standards required for today's two-way broadband transmission. The CONFREE taps (ACT) allows six A power passing on the trunk output, splitters (ACP) on all outputs suitable for the increased power consumption utilizing line feeded return path amplifiers and high output level amplifiers in bi-directional networks. CONFREE taps and splitters compact bodies together with the CONnector FREE design allows significant space reduction. Applications for CONFREE are both trunk and distribution networks. Flexibility The different PIM module improves flexibility both in designing the networks and installation one platform has many options.
