7 Hardware Features Hardware Features This section summarizes the standard features on each TALON field panel controller. To determine if you have the higher memory installed, look for hardware revision JA (F models) or BA (F32 models) on the product and shipping labels. NOTE: See TALON Configurator tool for information on the number of devices that fit in an enclosure. 10 Available RAM and Firmware Revisions Supported Available RAM and Firmware Revisions Supported This section indicates which firmware revisions are supported on a particular hardware model and the amount of RAM available for PPCL, trending, and FLN applications. Use the RAM Sizing Tools on the Vantage Web site to determine RAM requirements. CAUTION When working on a network with multiple firmware revisions, always connect to the operator interface at the field panel with the newest firmware revision. For TC-36 field panels that include FLN support, a default license named FLNNode36_254 displays in the field panel configuration. CAUTION Licensed FLN support only works if the correct license is loaded on the field panel. An FLN license for TC-16 and TC-24 field panels supports 32 FLN devices. For field panels that include island bus support, a default license named TXIOExp_8 displays in the field panel configuration. NOTICE models with Island Bus support allow two TX-I/O modules.
