Logging In and Updating

1 The Offline version of the Traumasoft EPCR has been changed to work both online and offline and has been updated with a fresh interface. Additionally, we have added some functionality in terms of syncing runs and pulling data from Traumasoft s CAD. Follow the instructions below to use Traumasoft EPCR v3. Logging In and Updating 1. Click Sync Config before logging in to get the latest configurations from the Cloud. 2. The version checker on the login will let you know if you have the latest version. If out of date, click Get Latest Installer to update. 3. If Config and Version are both up to date, enter your credentials and click Login. 4. Accept the EPCR Disclaimer to continue.

2 Runs List 1. The Links tab contains options for the runs page and creating runs. Click on the Links name to show/hide the pane. 2. The Online/Offline indicator lets you know the status of the connection to the cloud. Click the button to test the connection. 3. The Version indicator lets you know the current version of the software you are using. 4. To select a run in the list, click on the run. You will see it highlight blue as selected. 5. Once selected, you can View (edit), Print, Fax, or generate a PDF for the selected run by clicking the desired button at the top. a. Note that the runs list will indicate if a run was previously Printed. b. Additional indicators show if a run has been Finalized, Exported, and CAD Linked. 6. To create a new run, click on Create Run in the Links pane.

3 Creating a Run Manually 1. Clicking Create Run in the Links pane will open the Create Run dialog box. 2. Enter a Run Number (Note: to link the run to CAD, you must enter the run number exactly as it exists in Traumasoft CAD). 3. Optional: Enter the return run number for the trip. 4. Enter the Patient Care Report Number (PCR Number). This will usually be the same number as the Run Number. 5. Click Pull TS CAD Data for Run if you want to link the run to a CAD run. 6. Choose a Configuration for the run from the dropdown. 7. Once finished filling out the fields, click Save to create the run (or Cancel to disregard).

4 Pulling Current Calls from CAD 1. To open the Current Calls list, click on Current Calls in the Links pane (Note: this requires connection to the Cloud server to pull info). 2. From this page, a crew member may advance the timestamp of a run in CAD by clicking on the status button on the Actions column. a. Note: This is configurable and may not be enabled for your build. This will advance the call on the CAD Grid. The option will only appear on the next non-clear call in the crew member s list of Current Calls. 3. Click on the Directions button to open a map with Google directions from the Pickup to the Dropoff. (Note: Requires internet connection). 4. To start an EPCR for an individual run, click Start EPCR in the Actions column for that run. This will create the run and pull all available CAD data. 5. To create runs for all trips in the Current Calls list, click Start All EPCRs at the top of the page.

5 Filling Out a Run 1. When a run is first opened (viewed) the initial page is the new EPCR Home page. This is a configurable set of buttons which allow a crew to fill out a number of fields quickly without navigating between pages. 2. Click on the timestamp buttons at the top to set the timestamp of the status to now. 3. Clicking on buttons in the Vitals/Meds/Procedures section allows quick entry of options normally found on the Treatment page. A green inner-glow will indicate if a section has already been completed. 4. Choose a Chief Complaint from the list of up to 8 configurable quick buttons. 5. Choose one or more Symptoms from a configurable list of up to 16 options.

6 Filling Out a Run (cont.) 1. When editing a run, an additional tab has been added to the pane on the left side of the page for Run links. 2. The Run pane contains links to all of the pages of the EPCR. To navigate to a page, click on the button of the page. a. You may also navigate back to the run Home page by clicking Home. b. To edit run details, click Edit Run to open the Edit Run dialog (pictured above-right). c. Clicking on a different page in the Run pane will also save the current page before navigating to the selected page. 3. On each page, there are expandable sections containing fields to be filled out. The number of required fields is indicated in red below the section name. 4. To save the page but remain on the same page, click the Save button at the top or bottom of the page. 5. To save the page and continue to the next, click on Save and Next Section at the top or bottom of the page.

7 Filling Out a Run (cont.) The Finalize page of an EPCR is where a crew member can clean up data entered on the run and Finalize the run when complete. There are three sections on the page each with different purposes: 1. Incomplete Required Fields contains all fields on the run that are required for the chosen config but aren t filled out for the run. 2. Invalid Fields contains fields which have invalid data formats entered (ex: phone number or SSN with incorrect formatting). 3. Failed Logic Rules contains any failed logic rules for the config. Logic rules are set to prevent illogical data from being entered. 4. To fix any of the information in the sections, click on the button in the section to open a dialog which allows you to fix the info entered. If entered correctly, the button will disappear from the page. Once all issues have been resolved, the Finalize Run button at the bottom of the page may be clicked.

8 Syncing Completed Runs 1. When ready to sync your runs to the cloud, click the Sync to Cloud button on the Run List. a. Note: Logging out may also trigger the syncing process depending on how your build is configured. 2. On the Sync to Cloud popup, enter your username and password. 3. Click on Sync Runs to begin the syncing process. 4. A box will pop up to display information about the status of the sync and any errors that may have occurred with each run.
