2 There are two ways to view the online PLR the flip version (shown above) or pdf. Before moving forward, please remember to

3 To access the online version of the PLR: Select the Features tab on the Home Page, then click on Philatelic Literature Review.

4 You also can access the online version of the PLR: Select the Services tab on the Home Page, click on Library to get to the About the Library page and then select Quarterly Journal from the drop down list on the left.

6 A third way to access the online version of the PLR, is from the Members Only tab of My APS.

7 The online version of the PLR offers members much more than a great read archives of past issues, search the issue, print one or all pages, printer-friendly pages, downloadable pdf version, and much more.

8 The Thumbs Tab The Thumbs tab shows a thumbnail view of every page of the current issue. Just click on the page that you would like to see.

9 The Contents Advertisers Zoom Single Page View View in Full Screen Tabs These tabs are for your viewing convenience. Contents Click to view the contents including articles, featured columns, and book reviews. Advertisers Click to view all of the advertisers in the issue. Select an advertiser, click on the company s name, and you will go directly to the ad. Click on the link box found in the ad to go to the advertiser s website. Zoom Double click on the page or Zoom icon to zoom in or out. After zooming, you can use the slider to control the amount of zoom. You still can use the flip in zoom mode. Single-Page Select to view pages in single page or spread view. Full Screen Click to view the magazine in full-screen mode. Remember the search feature does not work when you are in full-screen.

10 The Search Tab Do a keyword(s) search in this issue of the journal. View the results and go directly to that page. The search result will be highlighted on the page.

11 Page Navigation First Page Previous Page Page Field Next Page Last Page These tabs are for your navigation convenience. First Page Click to go to first page. Previous Page Click to go back to previous page Page Field Click on the page name field drop down to easily jump to any page with the issue or type in the page number you wish to view. Next Page Click to go to the next page. Last Page Click to go to the last page of the issue.

12 The Share Tab The Share Tab is your social media link. Using the Share Tab you can share with a friend or post to a variety of social networks.

13 The Help Tools Settings Tabs Help By clicking on the Help tab, you will see a reminder of what each tab does. Tools Click to print a page(s) of this issue to your personal printer; download a pdf version, create a note anywhere on a page and to open your notes menu, or set a page as a favorite and save a description. You also can open the favorites menu to view/edit/delete a favorite. Settings By selecting Settings, you can personalize your online version by enabling/disabling the flipping sound, the page shadows, the flipping animation, the link rollover sound, or the center shadow.

14 The Side Toolbar Zoom Slider Zoom up to 400% for easier reading by moving the slider up and down. Zoom Drag When in Zoom Mode use this button to toggle between the click and drag zoom movement and to follow the cursor movement. Favorite Set a page as a favorite and save a description. Also, open the favorites menu to view/edit/delete a favorite. Notes Create a note anywhere on the page. Also, open the favorites menu to view/edit/delete a favorite. Print Print a page(s) of this issue on your personal printer. Download PDF Download a pdf of this issue to your personal computer. Help Show Links Click this button to show all of the link boxes on the page. Links will fade away after two seconds.

15 To obtain a text-only version of an article or column, place your cursor over the title, a pink-colored block will appear, click on it and voila text-only. You also may increase the size of the text. The Printer-Friendly/Text Only Tool

16 To obtain a translation, click on choose and select a language from the drop down menu. Remember, this is not a true translation as philatelic jargon can be problematic. TranslationTool
