1 Carrie Rozzo Greetings! My name is Carrie Rozzo, and I am a classy, ingenious, fun-loving human being. I believe in clean, informative, thoughtprovoking design. I am driven towards layout, typography, and User Interface design. I am a recent graduate of the Graphic Design program at Arizona State University, and I am looking for a full time position as a User Interface/User Experience Designer. 2 Stargazing Calendar Illustration/Typography For my second year in Design school, we were given the task of creating a calendar, based off of a subject we enjoyed, and to show what we have learned about typography. I am personally fascinated with astrophysics, and astronomy, which lead me to pin-point every star position over two months. What makes this calendar so special, is the fact that every dot indicates a star and it s exact movement through the night sky through January 1st, 2014, to February 28th, This was my favorite project, as it helped me push the envelope on calendar design, and how to harness the power of conceptual thinking. Placement of the typography was used to help show how bright the stars would get as the year went on, and how the position of the stars were not always right above you, but at a slight angle Illustrator/Photoshop

3 exact Music Player Website mockup In my freetime, I decided to put together a few UI projects, as this is what I want to eventually do in my career. I was working mainly in Illustrator with a grid system, in order to make sure everything would be proportional and consistent Illustrator/Photoshop

4 exact Music Player Application mockup The music player on the IPhone 6 is an extension of the website layout above. I had fun creating a music player as part of the application, including design of the elements, icons, and different styles for the layout Illustrator/Photoshop

5 Wildlife Application Application mockup/ Website layout I am interested in making icons, yet I had no application to apply them to. I conjoured up a simple layout for a mock application that I created, and applied the icons to this medium. I ended up really enjoying the concept of the application, and I am going to see if I can pursue this, and make it reality Illustrator/Photoshop

6 My life in a day Infographic Illustration/Poster mockup My first and favorite project for Senior year turned out to be an infographic about a typical day in my life. It happened to be over the weekend, and shows my love of the outdoors, along with working on projects and, of course, hanging out with my friends. I really enjoyed this project, as it was personal and a great way to show my take on a typical day in the life. I made a few simple sketches, and decided that I wanted to show icons that would display what I was doing at what time. In order to show the amount of time used by each task, I added a half-circle for each end of the spectrum, (night and day). The longer the curvature, the more time I spent doing that task. The layout of the information was tricky, but I found a solution, adding it to the end of the curves displaying the time spent Photoshop/Illustrator

7 Sixth Gear Bicycles Logo Design/Branding In my third year in design school, we were given the task of creating a company, which needed a branding system to be put into place. We created a logo, combining the arrangement of typography, and the type of business/ industry. Then we created a business system based off of the mock company. This project taught me how to create logo s properly, and the idea/process behind branding itself. Creating the identity for a brand, and powerful imagery for the product is just as important as creating the company itself Illustrator

8 Sixth Gear Bicycles Application mockup/ Logo Design I created a sample layout application in order to show the logo design on a medium that most people are familiar with. This also gave me the opportunity to explore application design, and a few user interface elements. This project helped me to exemplify the power of logo design, and simplicity in applications. Due to this example, I am starting to work on a few freelance User Interface projects that will be finished this summer, in order to broaden my skillset Photoshop/Illustrator

9 Thank you Postcards Typography/ Illustration In honor of those groups and individuals that helped me throughout my days at Arizona State University, I decided to create a thank you postcard to show my graditude. This postcard was extremely fun to make, and it was a way to show some of my personal flare Illustrator/Photoshop

10 Freelance Handlettering I have always loved the style and art of handlettering, so I decided to try it myself. It was a timeconsuming process, that involved many hours of sketching out ideas, and perfecting different type styles/sizes. This project helped me to be more patient, and mindful of details Photoshop/Pen & Paper

11 Futbol Fandom Application Layout Ui design is the most interesting part of the field, in my opinion. I enjoy working with the visuals in order to engage the audience, and also help them to navigate through the application with ease. Futbol Fandom is an application displaying stats for viewership per country for each game in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. There are different sections to view, make a profile, and connect with others who love the game Photoshop/Illustrator/Sketchup
