1 HELLO, I M LOGAN, A USER-FOCUSED PRINT AND WEB DESIGNER. I have a strong grounding in print/web design and education/training. My professional experience has given me the key skills to communicate and collaborate with others on creative projects. I have a good eye for detail and enjoy learning.

2 CTRL + P POSTERS This is one example of a series of posters we developed to accompany a homework journal we designed. The theme of the journal was A Balanced Life. These A2 size posters were shipped with all orders and I have since seen them framed on the walls of our client schools. They were produced in English and Irish.

4 CTRL + P JOURNALS After working as a graphic designer for an educational company for a number of years I have worked on designing a wide range of journals, notebooks and diary products for primary, secondary and further education institutions.

5 Grammar The mechanics of writing Grammar is the structure of language. It is extremely important to understand grammar and follow the rules of grammar correctly. PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT My educational background positioned me perfectly to work with teachers and professionals in the primary and secondary schools market to develop new products in response to changes in the sector.

6 <!DOCTYPE> WEBSITES Responsive brochure website developed through Wordpress detailing services offered by a Dublin-based accountancy firm. I love working on websites because I m fussy. It s all in the detail and web projects are holistic things. It s never a case of give us your content and we will slam it into a template. It s a conversation with some poignant questions for the client and a journey that considers all aspects of purpose, design, function, behaviour and usability. I like talking with the client and discussing the reasons behind decision we make together. I also enjoy setting up servers, installing Wordpress and customising semantic HTML and CSS to get it looking great. I am experienced at delivering onsite training to the client on how to get the most out of their new website. Responsive e-commerce website with integrated shop. Developed through Drupal CMS with search engine optimisation and integration with company inventory software. Responsive website developed for an Irish government body with integrated database search feature offering access to a range of Irish Language educational resources.

7 Responsive school website with school branding colours and typography implemented throughout. All pages illustrated with photos taken specifically for the project. News section implemented through categorised blog and on-site training on the Wordpress CMS delivered to staff members.

I provided the school with branding guidelines and carried out a photo shoot to capture the essence of the school spirit.

11 def hello(): CODE I am expanding my digital skills by learning to code. So far I have learned the fundamentals of Python and Javascript. I have implemented my knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 with new understanding of Javascript to create an online resource for my fellow teachers. github I'VE JOINED GITHUB GRA + DEY Gradey is a simple Javascript site I designed and developed to save me time when calculating average alpha grade results for assessments. 12 CTRL + C CAKE? Graphic design and typography is not confined to screen and paper. After having a bad day last year I decided to console myself with a typographical Victoria sponge cake. Fresh cream and strawberries make everything better.

13 TYPOGRAPHY IS SEW COOL I have expanded my interest in typography into the realm of hand embroidery and digital embroidery. I produce typographical artworks using different embroidery techniques.

14 NOTEBOOK & DRAW I love to doodle and I make my own notebooks in which I explore colour, typography and some rather depressing ideas I come across in philosophy podcasts.
