3 INTRODUCTION ECI has directed States to make a resource pool of training at IIIDEM. For this, a portal named as IIIDEM Training Material has been developed for uploading and access of the training material by all the CEOs and ECI officers. In this regard, CEOs are requested to upload all the materials related to different topics like the electoral roll, conduct of elections, etc. available in the IIIDEM portal. The material may be uploaded in document file with the following file name: Subject_Language_Year of Updation (e.g. Nomination_Hindi_2014) The above mentioned file may be uploaded in the portal by going to ECI website in the following link: IIIDEM training material. CEOs Portal (at the bottom of the home page under quick links) The link can be accessed by the CEOs with their corresponding username and password. Page 3 of 12

5 Link to IIIDEM Training Material To access this portal, user needs to go to the ECI Home website: and click on the indicated link CEO s Portal Page 5 of 12

6 After clicking on the above link CEO s Portal, user will be redirected to the following page. The user needs to click on the marked link to access IIIDEM Training Material. Page 6 of 12

7 1. Login Page CEOs can login with the credentials provided to them. Page 7 of 12

8 2. Welcome Page When the user logs in after giving his/her credentials. He/She lands on the Welcome page of the application. It displays the count of files uploaded at All India level if the user is national level otherwise CEO s will be able to see the uploads of their respective states. Upload counts can be seen respective to the various categories. On this page, search filters can also be applied with respect to the state or category. The user can choose a state from the dropdown of states and category from the category dropdown. Page 8 of 12

9 3. Upload Files From the Welcome page, user can choose the option Upload Files by clicking on the menu tab. On the Upload Files page, various parameters are required to be filled in order to upload a file. These are as follows: a. Document category A category is to be chosen corresponding to which a document is to be uploaded. b. Title This is the Title of the entry to be added. c. Language It gives the option to choose the language of the Entry. d. Brief Description of Entry A brief description is required be added regarding the entry. e. File Type The file type defines the type of document that whether it is word document, excel document, PowerPoint presentation or pdf. After choosing the file type, user is given with the option to upload the file by selecting a document from its system of the same type as chosen from previous selection. On completion of the information input, submit button is to be clicked to finally submit the details. Page 9 of 12

10 4. View Uploaded Files After uploading the file, user is redirected to the page ViewUploads.aspx. Here the user can view the list of uploaded documents. The details which are displayed are: Category of File Title State (which uploaded) Description Language Document Type Document Name Download/Delete Document The search filters state and category are also given on this listing. User can view the list of documents as per the choice of state or category. Page 10 of 12

11 On the above page, user is given a button Download with which the document gets downloaded to the system. 5. Delete Uploaded Entries By clicking on delete button given on View Files page, user can delete the uploaded entry. A confirmation message is given to the user before delete. If he/she agrees then only the document is finally deleted. Page 11 of 12

12 6. Change Password If the user wants to change his/her password, it can be done by going to the link Change Password. 7. Logout If the user want to exit the portal then click on Logout button and user will be redirected to Login page. Page 12 of 12
