4 New functions and changes GALAXIS and GALILEOS Implant Sirona Dental Systems GmbH 1 New functions and changes 1.1 GALAXIS and GALILEOS Implant Innovations in version and higher General Official support of Windows 7 (32-bit & 64-bit) Minimum system RAM requirements increased: 2 GB (previously 1 GB) Adaptation for HIPAA: Exported GALILEOS Viewer data conform to HIPAA setting of SIDEXIS The GALILEOS Viewer now conforms to the HIPAA anonymization settings of SIDEXIS. It is possible to burn DVDs under Windows Vista and Windows 7. 5 Sirona Dental Systems GmbH New functions and changes GALAXIS and GALILEOS Implant Innovations in version 1.7 and higher CEREC meets GALILEOS In GALILEOS Implant, the virtual CEREC model and the designed restoration can be displayed in the 3D volume, whereby surgical planning has been supplemented by the key aspect of prosthodontics. The automatic implant positioning proposal from GALILEOS Implant is provided based on the position and insertion axis of the crown designed with CEREC. It is then checked for its surgical feasibility and corrected if necessary. Findings-oriented operation (new toolbar) GALAXIS now offers the possibility of marking findings in the 3D volume, describing the findings and retrieving the automatically saved views, slices and image settings at the push of a button. This findings-oriented mode of operation offers a very fast and intuitive documentation alternative. The processing of the findings is continued even while a GALILEOS Viewer CD is being burned. The appearance of the yellow orientation lines has been adapted: The lines are omitted in the center ("cross hairs") to ensure that no important details are hidden. The lines can be switched completely on and off. The rendered 3D view has been improved. The TSA is now tiltable. In order to simplify the display, only a TSA slice is still displayed. Navigation by jumping: A double-click in a 2D view causes the focus/ position to change to the position of the double-click. The CEPH and radiological views can be "tilted" by the "Nose upwards" and "Nose to the left" options. GALAXIS' tiltable slices and 3D interaction are also available without a license (dongle). The selected presettings of the panoramic curve are saved for each user. Any files desired can be added when burning a GALILEOS Viewer CD. båöäáëü D

Offers a reset button for remote restarts of the RCU. Asian character sets can be displayed on the GALILEOS EasyPad. The Classic PAN view is available in SIDEXIS with all systems. Further improvements have been made in the reconstruction algorithm. GALILEOS Server/Workstation supports Windows 7 Professional (32-bit & 64-bit). 6 D

7 Sirona Dental Systems GmbH New functions and changes SIDEXIS XG software 1.3 SIDEXIS XG software General functions Practice information: SIDEXIS XG can now manage and use address data for multiple practices. Move image: This command makes it possible to move images created for the wrong patient to other patients. Image moves are logged and can be undone by moving the images again. The maximum length of the findings and length of the exam title have been increased. The maximum length of findings texts is now 5,000 characters, and that of exam titles is 128 characters. A full frame zoom can now be selected in the image optimization. The transfer window (histogram) now features the gamma curve as a presetting. New tool tips with extended additional image data are available. These tool tips become visible when you move the mouse pointer over the image title bar. A simple link to the SIDEXIS XG User Area is available in the "Help" menu. The dose can be specified immediately after image generation for exposures. This value is then saved with the image. The Quicksearch function in the patient selection has been improved. Slida3D now offers the option of automatically requesting and receiving 3D data from the SIDEXIS XG system. Profiles for defined 3rd party products can be utilized in the process. båöäáëü New examinations The new multipage examinations make it possible to link various individual examinations. This function is used jointly with REPORTER and GALAXIS. Examinations are exportable as single files. Examinations can be ed as compressed ZIP files. Image metadata are integrated in the exported examination. Print functions The page view has been improved. The page alignment can be defined for each image type. The printout of multipage examinations is supported. D

8 New functions and changes SIDEXIS XG software Sirona Dental Systems GmbH Import and export of DICOM data The enhanced user interface now enables faster operation and fewer operating errors. Profiles for 3rd party manufacturer volume export are supplied and can be changed. Volumes for 3rd party manufacturers can now be transferred automatically via SLIDA. SIDICOM RM is available in multiple languages. It is no longer necessary to start GALILEOS Implant in order to generate a 3rd party volume; i.e. the volume can be generated in SIDEXIS XG. The dcm file extension is supported for 3rd party volumes. A simpler file structure is also used. The anonymization options have been simplified. ImplantPlus New and updated implants from Straumann, Anthogyr, Astratech, BEGO Implants, Biocer Implants, BTI Implants, Dentaurum, Neodent, and Wieland are available. The new implants are not automatically installed, but can be imported to the corresponding XGNetDeploy file in the directory TOOLS\ImplantData with a double-click. Installation, administration, care Updated setup with improved graphics for easy selection of options. The assignment of access rights for individual components in the SIDEXIS XG Manager has been changed. The SIDEXIS XG Manager can also be started by non-administrators. The individual tools in the SIDEXIS XG Manager have separate authorizations. The GUI configuration of a station is now transferable to other stations. The configuration can either apply to single users, a system, or the entire practice. The program name in the SIDEXIS XG window title has been corrected to SIDEXIS XG. Acceptance and constancy test New test reports can be created and completed for X-ray equipment in PDF format. The PDF test report is attached to the respective exposure. An export dialog allows for customized exporting of different acceptance and constancy tests together with the respective reports. The TSA test is selectable via a separate button. The tests offer more protection against mix-ups via a new interlock. For example, it is impossible to generate IO tests for panoramic units. 8 D
