1 Deltek Acumen Release Notes Page 1 of 5 Deltek Acumen Release Notes Released: August 29, 2014 Software Issues Resolved (42) Oracle Primavera 2539 There was an exception error when you imported a Primavera P3 project that contained a "topic" type activity from SureTrack Project level and summary level calendar assignments were not imported correctly from P6 Web Services When you imported a Primavera P6 XML project, the Costs columns displayed NaN When you imported a Primavera P3 project and the baseline did not exist, the activities Baseline Start/Finish dates displayed 1/1/0001. UN/CEFACT 2327 When you imported a UN/CEFACT project that was exported from Open Plan, "The element 'ReportedHierarchicalStructure' in namespace has invalid child element 'TypeCode " error message displayed in the import log UN/CEFACT import was importing resource assignment Resource Remaining Units incorrectly UN/CEFACT import was not processing material resource assignments correctly There was an exception error when you re-imported a UN/CEFACT project The Export as UN/CEFACT option was not disabled when you selected Oracle Primavera P3 and Microsoft Excel projects UN/CEFACT export did not warn you that it was overwriting the existing file An exception error displayed when you mapped Name to and then imported the UN/CEFACT project UN/CEFACT export produced incorrect Percent Complete values UN/CEFACT export produced incorrect Baseline Duration values Min/Max/Most likely Duration was not exported from UN/CEFACT UN/CEFACT import was not processing Min/Max/Most likely Duration WBS IDs were not displayed correctly when you imported a UN/CEFACT project An exception error displayed when you exported a file as UN/CEFACT and then added that file as a snapshot a second time.

Open Plan 2396 When you selected Get External Data» Deltek Open Plan on the S1 // Projects tab, the Include subprojects if they are already opened in Open Plan radio button label on the Select a project from the list dialog box was missing the word external. Microsoft Project 2215 You could not export scenarios based on Microsoft Project back to the MPP format You could not import Microsoft Project native projects that included an Acumen ID column A non-fatal exception error displayed when you imported a Microsoft Project Interop project with the Early/Late Start/Finish Dates equal to NA When you exported a project as a Microsoft Project XML file, you were not given the option to add the file as a snapshot and compare it using the Forensic Analyzer When you exported a project as Microsoft XML, and selected No when asked if you wanted to include resource assignments on summaries, the calculation was not being performed Microsoft Project Interop import failed when you imported a code field that had a description of null The Microsoft Project native import was not processing baseline dates correctly. General Risk 2320 There was an exception error in the Cost Schedule Integration window when you integrated with a schedule that had been cleansed by converting lags to activities The Min Dur (minimum duration) field converted into hours and then days when you modified the duration value for a mapped risk event and Duration Time Unit for the project was set to Hours Correlation was not applied when you assigned uncertainties and then imported the Uncertainty Template.

Forensics 2644 Baseline Start/Finish Dates were calculated at the row level for projects based on children even when the project did not have baseline dates. This occurred with Microsoft Project (both native and interop), Phoenix Project Manager, and Oracle Primavera P The deleted Current Schedule Scenario was displaying in the Forensics view Projects grid. Fields Logic 2252 User fields were not mapped when you selected Map All User Fields for all Projects and Map all by default was disabled Links with a positive lag were listed as redudant links in the Logic view and the Schedule Cleanser. Projects 2183 Search was not finding anything when you searched User Defined and/or Code fields Project and WBS remaining duration did not display correctly when you set Set Duration Time Units to Hours. General 2851 "The workbook is corrupt" error message displayed when you opened the workbook with the snapshots. Documentation 2180 There was no information about the SmartGantt Configuration Window in the Acumen User Guide.

The updated table is as follows: Tab S1 // Projects S2 // Diagnostics Create and maintain project workbooks. Use to import, view, and edit project data. This includes the main Acumen Fuse view and is used to conduct analysis. Available in these Acumen products Fuse Risk 360 S2 // Logic Advanced logic checks. S2 // Benchmarking Comparison of project data to cloud-based database of similar projects. S3 // Risk Monte-Carlo risk analysis, risk register, and reporting. S4// Acceleration Define acceleration goals and criteria. S5 // Dashboard Reporting dashboard. Forensics Compare multiple snapshots or historical instances of a project(s). Metrics The metric editor for maintaining custom metrics. Fields Tab for defining custom field mappings when importing project data. Custom Programs Affected Sometimes an update can cause custom programs and reports to stop working as expected. Before applying this update, consider whether you have any custom programs or reports in the application area affected by the update. If so, contact Deltek Customer Care at before you install the update. Download the Cumulative Update Online Installer Version 1. Connect to the internet. 2. Start Acumen. If a new version is available, a message displays asking if you would like to run the update. 3. Click Yes to start the update. Acumen downloads and installs the update. You can see the progress bar in the bottom right corner of the screen. 4. After the update is complete, a message displays letting you know that the update will only take effect the next time Acumen is launched and asking if you want to close Acumen. 5. Click Yes to close Acumen. 6. Start Acumen again. 7. If Show release notes after update is selected in the Options dialog box, the Release Notes display. To view the Release Notes at any time, click File» Deltek Acumen Options» About Deltek Acumen» Release Notes.

5 Deltek Acumen Release Notes Page 5 of 5 Offline Installer Version 1. Uninstall your current Acumen version. 2. From Internet Explorer, navigate to 3. Click Run Deltek Software Manager. 4. Log in using your Deltek Customer Care Connect credentials. 5. In the left pane of the Deltek Software Manager, expand the Acumen folder. 6. Expand the Complete folder and select the update you wish to download. 7. Click Download at the bottom of the screen. 8. Run the executable (.exe) file. After the update is complete, click Finish. Manually Check for Updates 1. Open Acumen. 2. Click File» Deltek Acumen Options. 3. On the General tab, click Check for Updates. Check to See if the Cumulative Update is Installed In Acumen, view the current version number at the bottom right corner of the screen.
