VisuaLCN Lab Client software, together with Bitrode s outstanding laboratory test instruments will give you superior control of your laboratory workflow. Whether you re just beginning to use Bitrode s computer-controlled equipment or if you ve already been using our DOS or UNIX LCN software, VisuaLCN will step you up to a new level of control and flexibility. This package has been developed for the Windows 95/98 and Windows NT operating systems, and allows the integration of formation processes and production tracking across your entire enterprise network. Control your processes with dragand-drop ease of use. Data generated during tests are stored in Microsoft Access format view the results of your work in a way that suits your style. Designed for flexibility, VisuaLCN s client-server architecture allows you to work on a standalone computer, or control your Bitrode hardware from anywhere on your network. This system is built around industry standard operating systems, and runs on readily available computer hardware. Existing investments in Bitrode formation equipment are protected; circuits running with our DOS or UNIX LCN software can be upgraded to the Windows system.

3 What suits YOUR work habits? VisuaLCN s Lab Client application is the main workspace for circuitry control and will be familiar to anyone who has used Windows Explorer to manage files. Configure circuits to your liking by organizing them in groups in the Configuration window, setting up your workspace in an Explorer-like tree format so that you can choose how much information you see. Once circuits are organized to your liking in the overview window, save the workspace configuration for future use with the press of a button. Windows interface allows desktop control and monitoring of Bitrode formation and test hardware from anywhere on the network. Commonly used testing profiles are stored in a database for easy retrieval and use Check the status of your test, choosing only information that is meaningful. You need not be a software writer to create circuit control programs with VisuaLCN. Program Editor presents a fill-in-the-blank interface; all the choices are right in front of you in an easy to understand format. Add new steps to a program by working from the menus or copy them from an existing routine. Program Editor allows you to comment each step and control, helping you and other users remember and understand the profiles you ve developed. Built-in Program Syntax and Variable Value Checking The Program Editor, like the VisuaLCN s Lab Client screen, is easy to read and use; complete programs appear in a collapsible Explorer-like interface which you can expand and contract, showing only the information you want to see. Set profile limit conditions by choosing the functions you need from a pull-down menu interface. Appropriate ranges are displayed for values you select. 5 Shed Some LIGHT on the Process Don t be left in the dark. VisuaLCN s realtime data acquisition capability allows you to check the progress of a running circuit using one of several methods. View data from tests in process using the tabular Individual Circuit Status window, or check progress graphically, watching variables plot in real-time. Data can be gathered from individual circuits or from entire groups in the Lab Client window. VisuaLCN s real-time graphing utility allows you to check the function of circuits from within the same workspace used to organize and control them. Pull up a menu within the Network Overview interface and you re all set to look at your test-in-progress. Choose the important variables and VisuaLCN will graph only those. Customize your graph in the Graphical View Axis Configuration window, charting up to six axes per graph and plotting multiple variables per axis. Compare test data from running circuits in intervals of one second or longer; configure the time axis to fit your needs. Plot up to 6 Y-axes, charting multiple variables along each axis.

Analyze the RESULTS Quality control and battery development depend upon access to test data for success. VisuaLCN shows you the outcome with applications developed specifically for post process data viewing and analysis. Information returned from tests can be viewed in tabular format or in a user configurable graphic view. When graphing, choose the information you need to evaluate, configuring up to six different Y axes, plotting different variables from the same test, or similar information from different tests. Once a graph format has been set, it can be saved as a template for later use with other tests. Choose the data you need to see, and how you d like to see it - choose data from multiple test programs, or multiple variables from any single program, configuring your graph with each variable viewed on its own Y-axis. Graphs are easy to interpret with user customized data ranges, graph colors and line styles and widths. VisuaLCN offers great flexibility to users who need to interpret information by storing data in Microsoft Access format. This means that you can choose how you view the results of your laboratory process; either view the information graphically with VisuaLCN s inbuilt graphing utility, export it into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, or arrange the data in an Access report of your own design. Your table is ready - data can easily be viewed in tabular format with VisuaLCN s QuickView application.

VisuaLCN is based on a client-server architecture.
