2 Signing up for Fieldwire Sign up for free on the Fieldwire website. Once your Fieldwire account is created, you can also download our ios or Android app on your mobile device. If you're sending an invite to someone, they will receive a link via that will allow them to join the project. If you are receiving a project invite, just open the and click on that link in order to join. We also have a Fieldwire app on the App store. Click here to download the app for your ios device. We also have a Fieldwire app on Google play. Download the app for your Android device.

3 Creating your first project Create new projects by clicking on the + New Project button. You can also import attributes from an existing project into a new project by clicking on the Clone Existing Project field underneath the Title field when creating a new project.

4 Getting started on a project Once your project has been created, upload your plans. Fieldwire supports directly uploading from Dropbox, Box, and your computer. Next, create categories for your tasks (ex: Electrical, Structural, Landscape, etc.). Clicking Add Default Categories, will populate your categories based on common trades in the industry. Invite your team to the project. If you use the free version of Fieldwire, these users count toward your 0 user limit. If you have a premium Fieldwire account, these users count toward your billing.

5 Projects on the web Plans Where you upload & view your plans. Tasks Where you can find all the tasks in your project. Photos Where all the photos attached on plans and included within tasks are collected. People Where you can invite new users to the project, locate users contact info, and edit users access level. Files Where you can find all your misc. project files. Graphs Shows your task metrics from the previous week. (Only available on web). Settings Where you update all the main project settings. Quicktip: To quickly invite users, navigate to the People tab to invite new users to your project. Users invited will count against your project headcount. Quicktip: To make the process of inviting an entire team easier, simply connect Gmail to your Fieldwire account and get easy access to all your saved contacts!

You can swipe up when a plan is completely zoomed out to view outdated versions of the same plan.

Every full checklist template you create is saved in the project for easy replication.

Related tasks tie tasks together and let their respective owners know that their work is dependent on that of another. This helps keep the whole team on the same page!

15 Project reports Report creation modal on web You can create PDF or spreadsheet reports for all of your task data, just select which filters you want on the report template and the report to anyone you like! Reports can be sent out on the fly, or on a regular, automatic schedule. Every report template gets saved, so you can easily send it again without recreating it! There are types of reports: PDF Summary (a bullet point list of your tasks), PDF Detailed (includes all task content, such as notes, photos, checklists, attachments, etc.), and CSV Spreadsheet (an Excel-like export of your project data).
