All languages with Basic Localization Level (Chinese, French, Russian, Portuguese and Spanish) are now supported. Besides the Basic Localization we implemented a lot of features again. Here is a quick summary of the new features in OW15 Sprint 4. Point cutting using M18 supported for plasma processes The request came initially from India and the US. Point cutting with M18 is a simple application for cheap plasma systems without the capability for plasma marking. Instead of marking, a point cutting process is used. The function Draw a point can now be used to create points on the cut layer instead of a marking layer only. Point cutting is now supported for straight and advanced bevel nesting plans. Please make sure this feature is supported by your version of the Global Control. Improved continuous contour text marking capabilities OmniWin includes now a new font for text marking which enhances readability of the continuous contours. With this feature we introduce a new quality level for text marking with plasma. The new high-quality font allows now plasma marking of text with an impressive quality. The conversion of text can be done manually after text insertion or automatically when the part is saved. Automatic part labeling OmniWin can apply identification markings to parts directly upon nesting. The part name will be applied as single-line text and a marking process is assigned. This allows easy identification of parts after manufacturing. This function applies likewise to parts and to order items (Edition Enterprise). The function can be enabled in the Nesting Plan Options for straight and advanced bevel plans. Hence the integrated beveling (Option Bevel) comes with identical functionality. 1/5

2 Part tracking and reporting The database dialog for parts or order items (Edition Enterprise) provides the ability to create reports. The reports list the plates and nesting plans where the part or order item (Edition Enterprise) was nested on. A new report option allows to consume all space by plan/part picture objects. A new nesting plan report template is available for showing many parts on the nesting plan. The following important defects are resolved: artf19186: Collision Control Option "Don`t rotate Lead-in/out don t work using Cursor Keys to rotate part artf19251: It's not possible to change Process, Contour size and macros on advanced plans without Option Bevel artf19249: Chinese text replaced in PDF export for reports artf19016: 3D extrusion is not supported in reading DXF/DWG files. artf19248: Arcs on H view in DSTV files are handled wrong artf19250: Time calculation does not regard corner speed reduction. artf19022: Stone Mold Cutting: Pre-Piercing including pre-drilling functionality must be available in the post processor artf19136: REA inkjet support: Changed parameters for text height 18 and PLC based angle correction artf19280: Part import: Order number and position must be available in DXF administration data artf19284: Latest changes to GC_US_SKEW PP should be merged to the product artf19283: Inch profiles should be updated with latest version from MCS US artf19267: Connecting to database failed on first start-up with Single Workspace installation 2/5
