1 Adding Accounts About this guide This guides takes you through the process of adding one or more accounts to your CommBiz service. Important information Adding accounts is a maintenance request and requires an additional level of security. You will only be able to add accounts if you have been assigned Admin (Administrator) permissions and have a security token. Before you start Ensure that you have the correct name, BSB and account number for each account you are adding. If you want to perform transactions on an account using CommBiz, as a security measure you also need to send the Bank a signed Electronic Account Authority, stating who has permission to authorise those transactions. Adding accounts 1. Open your internet browser, visit commbiz.com.au and log into CommBiz using your password AND your token password from your security token. 2. On the top menu, click Admin > Maintenance Requests. The Find Maintenance Request page is displayed. 3. On the lefthand menu, select Add Account(s).
2 4. The Add or Re-enable Account screen is displayed. Select the Add Account(s) radio button, then click the Next button. Adding account details 5. The Add Account(s) screen is displayed. Choose the account type from the drop down menu. You will be prompted to provide the details of the account you are adding. Note: The available account types are savings/cheque account, business loan/line of credit, credit card, foreign currency account, cash relationship account and cash deposit account. To add a non-cba account, please refer to the Adding Non CBA Accounts user guide. Page 2 of 5
3 6. Enter the account details, including the account name, BSB and account number, then choose the Account Holder type from the drop down list. 7. Check that all the details you have entered are correct, then click the Add button. 8. Details of the new account are displayed. You can edit or delete the account details. Page 3 of 5
4 Adding further accounts 9. To add further accounts, simply repeat from step 3. Note: If you add a Cash Relationship Account or a Cash Deposit Account, this will provide you with access to the Markets functionality in CommBiz. Before proceeding, you are required to select the check box acknowledging that you have read the CommBiz Markets PDS. 10. When you have added all the accounts you wish to add, click the Next button. The Account Summary screen is displayed. Defining Electronic Account Authorities 11. To define an Electronic Account Authority (EAA) for the account/s you have added, check the tickbox next to the account/s, then click the Define Authority button. Note: To define an EAA for multiple accounts, the Account Type and Account Holder Type must be the same across these accounts. If you choose not to define an EAA, click Next and the Confirm Details page is displayed, asking you to confirm that you have not defined the EAA. To define it at this point, simply click the Modify button. If you choose not to define an EAA, the account/s will be view only. 12. The Define Electronic Account Authority screen is displayed. You can define a new EAA, add the account/s to an existing EAA, or copy and edit an existing EAA. All of these options will take you through a series of screens required to define the EAA. 5 13. When you have finished defining the EAA, click the Next button. Confirming account details 14. The Confirm Details screen is displayed. 15. Check the details are correct and then click the Confirm button. The Add Account(s) Confirmed screen is displayed. Finalising the new account(s) request 16. Make a note of your CommBiz request number for future reference. 17. Under CommBiz Forms, you must print out, complete, sign and return the form(s) shown before your account/s will be finalised. 18. You must also check the tickbox next to Maintenance request forms have been saved/printed before clicking the OK button. You will now be returned to the Find Maintenance Request screen. Page 5 of 5
