51 Property to Property v2.0 Validating/Monitoring Passkey Before completing the recap and giving it to support it is necessary to validate that the connector is installed correctly. This is only possible if the Passkey production site is available and you have completed all Connection Manager information. Once a booking is modified that meets the connection manager criteria a message is sent to Passkey. You can do this by creating a test booking that meets the connection manager criteria. While you create and save the test booking, you monitor the Export Monitor in the admin panel. 1. In the Admin Panel, open the Export Monitor. You will toggle back to the export monitor once your test booking has been saved. 2. Open Delphi and create a booking that meets the Connection Manager s Booking Export Configuration you configured according to the SOW. See step f on page a. For example, in Delphi, create a test booking under the Newmarket account. 1 Agreed room, 0 blocked rooms, 3 nights, status = definite, post as = Passkey Test, rate = $1.00, to next day. Enter a housing method that you specified in the Booking Export Configuration, per the SOW. 3. Save changes to the booking and quickly toggle back to the Export Monitor. Once the booking is saved, a message makes it s way from the Delphi database through I-Server to Passkey. This process can take up to 5 minutes. You should see the number of messages in the booking service connection change to zero as this occurs. The status column can also help you interpret what is happening to the message. If the status is green, it indicates that messages are being sent from I-Server to Passkey. After 10 minutes, if the message is not moving, the status turns yellow, after 2 hours, it turns red. 4. Once you see the message pass through the Export Monitor or after 5 minutes has passed, check to make sure there are no error messages in the Status Queue. a. If you see the following error, it indicates that Passkey security has denied the connection. Message Status: Transfer Type : 'NIDataExport' Priority : '1' Error : 'Could not export data to passkey webservice.' Reason : 'Node:'//*[name()='buildEventRS']//*[name()='Data']//*[name()='processRequest']// *[name()='return']/@code' could not be found in document. Function : CXML::GetAttributeValueFromPath() failed.' Layer : 'NIIS'. Component : 'ExportService_Passkey.Passkey' Detailed Description : 'Error retrieving the value of 'code' attribute.' b. As a first troubleshooting step, ensure the property connection details in the Admin Panel are correct. 5. Delete the test booking from Passkey. Logout of Passkey.
