4 7. In the boxes at the bottom of the page, enter the access code provided below. 5 9. If you have a Pearson Account, verify the account information that displays and click Next. 9a. If you are creating a new Pearson Account, fill in the account information, including your name, address, and your school location. You can select your school from the School Name list that becomes available once you enter your zip code, or select Other and enter the school information. Creating a Course 1. On the My Courses landing page, click Create/Copy a Course, either in the top right of the window or in the box in the middle of the page. 2.

Under Choose from catalog, click in the Search box. Type the ISBN number of the course you want to create (see below) and click the Search button. (See page 12 for a complete list of ISBNs.) 9 5. You must enter a course name. You might want to use the title of the text, or the name of the class being taught. 6. Enter a course description, if you want. 7. 10 8. Enter the course dates. First enter the date the course will begin. Note that the enrollment dates enter automatically; you can change them if you want. Next, enter the end date. It is a good idea to set the end date a week or two after the actual date of the final class. When all dates are entered, click Create Course. 9. When the course displays with a blue background it is ready for use. 11.
