To do this, go to Roles in Security Administration and set up security for each Role that should have access to the screens identified with an asterisk in this release document. Dashboard Alerts Added three new graphs, Tickets Taken Cleared By Service Type By Exchange, Tickets Repeated By Service Type By Exchange, Tickets Not Cleared Timely By Service Type By Exchange. They can be found under the Trouble Tickets folder under Subscriber Information Systems in the Left Navigation. 1. Tickets Taken Cleared By Service Type By Exchange. This graph provides a separate bar representation containing values for tickets taken and another for tickets cleared with the comparisons made on the reported date and the cleared date fields for a given Internal Service Type and Service Area combination within a selected range of time. 2. Tickets Repeated By Service Type By Exchange. This graph provides a bar graph showing the number of tickets with repeat reported items indicated by the repeat ticket number field for a given Internal Service Type and Service Area combination within a selected range of time. 3. Tickets Not Cleared Timely By Service Type By Exchange. This graph provides a bar graph showing any tickets not cleared within a 24-hour period indicated by the difference in the clear date and time and the reported date and time fields for a given Internal Service Type and Service Area combination within a selected range of time. (CR ) Corrected Open Trouble Ticket(s) alert to display when an open trouble ticket has been entered. (CR ) Customer Management Contact Tracking Modified to default the follow-up task to Normal in the Priority field of the Task Processing frame on the Task Assignments dialog box when clicking the Add Task button on the Reasons tab. (CR ) Corrected an "Unexpected System Problem" error when accessing the Related Contacts hyperlink on the Reasons tab. (CR ) Corrected to delete workflow when a contact is deleted. 2 Customer Corrected the Where Used to be updated when an SIS Account, POS Account, Member, or Uncollectable Account is added or deleted. (CR ) Changed the Use Of Address field on the Address Has Changed dialog box to say POS Billing if it is a Point of Sale account. (CR ) Added the Quick Account button which access the Quick Account dialog box and allows you to create the POS Account and SIS Account. If you do not have POS, you will see only the SIS Account frame. This screen will also allow you to Jump To the POS Sale dialog box or to Create Service Order dialog box. If Create Service Order is selected, you can select a Connect SO Type. (CR ) Corrected to not give an "Unexpected System Problem" error when adding an Organization and then adding an Individual. (CR ) Service Orders Modified an "Unexpected System Problem" error during close of service orders when trying to change the member number when the old member number did not exist in Capital Credits. (CR 98627) Added the Agreement ID to the top portion of the Lookup: Product Catalog dialog box. (CR ) Created a warning informing you of the assignment of the master location when the master location is entered on the Connect tab in the Create Service Order dialog box for a nontelephone location-based service. (CR ) Added the Group Print check box to the Service Order Mass Close dialog box. If the Group Print check box is selected, and the service orders are for the same account, the service orders will be grouped together instead of one per order. If the Group Print check box is selected, and the service orders are for multiple accounts, you will receive an error. If not printing by group, the service orders will print each order separately. You are not allowed to print more than 50 service orders at one time using the Group Print check box. (CR ) Changed the Local > DID tab, Toll > LD Acct Codes tab, and Directory > Indents tab on a Connect service order to no longer have the hyperlinks and buttons available if you modify the Agreement field or the Account field, and you do not save your changes on the Service Orders > Service Order tab. (CR ) Corrected the Tele # Change service order to properly update Line Status on Administration > General > Reserve/Available Lines. 3 Service Orders (continued) Added the Shared Location and Update Plant check boxes to the Administration > General > Company Options screen. Added the Update Plant and Copy buttons on the Location > General tab. 1. Administration > General > Company Options screen. Added the Shared Location and Update Plant check boxes. Both of these check boxes are dependant on the Cable & Plant Interface being selected. If the Cable & Plant Interface is not selected, then the two new fields must also not be selected and not available. If the Cable & Plant Interface is selected, then the fields are available. 2. Location > General > Copy button. When copying a location, a dialog box displays asking if you want to also create additional locations with internal service types available that have at least one location-based service type. 2A. Location > General > Copy button. When copying a location to itself with a different internal service type, a dialog box displays asking if you want to also create additional locations with internal service types available that have at least one location-based service type. When copying a location to itself with different internal service type, if the Shared Location check box is selected, then all the new locations will get the same plant data as the original. 3. Location > General > Update Plant button: Added new button to screen. This button will be hidden if Update Plant check box is not selected. Once selected, a dialog box will display the other internal service types for the location that can be updated. You select which ones to update. The plant data will be updated using the original location. The top and bottom tables work in the following manner. The top table is the record that will be updated. Once selected, the bottom table will reflect which fields to update for that record. Plant fields as well as Fiber fields can be updated, as well as the custom fields set up in company options. If the custom field has no label, then the custom field will not show in the update table. Each table has its own Select All and Deselect All buttons and are independent. If a record in the top table is not selected, then the bottom table is not available for that record. 4. Service Orders > Location: Added new Update Plant button to tab. This button will be hidden if the Update Plant check box is not selected. Once selected, a dialog box will display the other internal service types for the location that can be updated. You select which ones to update. This update will happen on close. 5. Service Orders > Location > Maintain Location: If a change is made to the location, and the Update Plant check box is selected, then a dialog box will display the other internal service types for the location that can be updated. You select which ones to update. This update will happen on close. (CR ) Modified so when closing a Tele # Change or Account Change, recurring Toll nonprorated C&Cs are moved to the new agreement. (CR ) Fixed proration override of items within packages when the Prorate Date is already assigned on the service order. (CR ) Enhanced the Service Type field on the Service Orders > Service Order tab. On a Disconnect or Account Centric service order, the Service Type field is now not available at all times. While the service types of Telephone Number Change and Ownership Change are not available only when the Service Type field is being updated by another service order with the same location. (CR ) Corrected an "Unexpected System Problem" error that sometimes happened when clicking the 911 tab on a Connect service order. (CR ) Changed the effective date maintenance to take the date entered and not revert back to current date upon save. (CR ) Modified the Print Service Order dialog box to print multiple service orders. If the Group Print check box is selected, and the service orders are for the same account, the service orders will be grouped together instead of one per order. If the Group Print check box is selected, and the service orders are for multiple accounts, you will receive an error. If not printing by group, the service orders will print each order separately. (CR ) Corrected error when an OCP exists on Tele # Change, Ownership Change, and Account Change service orders. (CR ) Corrected an "Unexpected System Problem" error when updating the same location with different Internal Service types on the Location > Location screen. (CR ) Modified so the workflow template is now saved once the Create Workflow button on the Workflow tab is clicked. (CR ) Changed so when you leave the Connect Date blank on a Connect service order while adding a product type of Internet on the Service Orders > Product and Services tab and validating the service order, you no longer receive an "Unexpected System Problem" error but will instead receive the error "[Connect Date] - Connect date is required." (CR ) Modified to refresh the Products & Services tab so you do not inadvertently update something that should not be updated. (CR ) Corrected an "Unexpected System Problem" error when trying to delete a package. (CR ) Corrected so that package items will not display twice. (CR ) Modified an Ownership Change order so when you have multiple Internet agreements with only one Telephone agreement, you will not receive a validation stating an active Telephone agreement is available. (CR ) Changed so when an agreement, account, or customer already owns a location, and it is active, you will no longer be able to connect to the same location. You will now receive the following error; "Location you have selected is already active." (CR ) Corrected an "Unexpected System Problem" error when attempting to close a Disconnect, Telephone Number Change, or an Ownership Change service order and the EUB In-House check box is selected on the Administration > General > Company Options screen. (CR ) Corrected an "Unexpected System Problem" error when attempting to close a service order. You are now able to create cutsheets with a name and description of less then five characters on CB > TableEdits > Cutsheets, and when validating a service order, it will validate successfully, as well as close without erroring out. 5 Service Orders (continued) Corrected Tele # Change service order to transfer prorations to the new agreement number. (CR ) Corrected an "Unexpected System Problem" error when changing the Stop Date to be the same as a previous Stop Date. (CR ) Fixed an "Unexpected System Problem" error when adding a Device to the Equipment tab. (CR ) Modified service plans so when there is a common pool, the service plan of everyone in that pool will be changed. The prorations for each agreement are now displaying correctly on each account within that pool. (CR ) Corrected to clear all the services on the decoder before adding the new services. (CR ) Modified so the CO System Type, CO System Name, CO System Channel are now displaying on the Service Orders > Location tab when doing a Reconnect service order. (CR ) Corrected a warning that an active agreement does not exist when an OCP exists on Tele # Change, Ownership Change, or Account Change service orders. (CR ) Account Account Added the Current Month Only check box on the General tab. The Current Month Only check box will allow you to select customers that you want exempt from receiving a delinquent notice for one month. When the check box is selected, along with the Delinquent Exempt check box, the customer will be exempt from receiving a delinquent notice for one month. After the Reports/Processes > Invoices And Letters > Delinquent Listing report is ran with the Update Files check box selected, the Delinquent Exempt and Current Month Only check boxes on the General tab will be cleared. (CR ) Corrected so if you have an inactive account with no agreements, and you do a Connect service order then void that order, you are now able to delete that account. This only deletes the account, not the voided service orders. To view the voided service orders, go to Service Orders > Service Orders. (CR ) Corrected several items related to updating and saving the Bill-To and Copy-To addresses. (CR ) EFT Corrected the right-click Set Default option so when you select a Payment Day on the Preference dialog box, that payment day will default when you add a new EFT record. (CR ) Corrected so if you change the account number, you have to modify the complete account number because of the encryption. Modified so when you click the Reset button, the information will revert back to the original. Modified so when you initially enter the screen and have a customer in focus, you will only see the Bank that corresponds to the Routing Number. (CR ) 4/5/2006 Page 5
6 Pay Arrangement Corrected so when you have multiple installment pay arrangements using Twice A Month as the Frequency, the Due Date of the arrangement will now display correctly. (CR ) Modified so when the Pay Current Amount First check box is selected, you can't enter an amount in the Installment Amount field that is greater than the sum of your 30-, 60-, and 90-day balances. Corrected an "Unexpected System Problem" error when you would reverse a pay arrangement payment that had the Pay Current First Amount check box selected. Changed the Multiple Installments dialog box so when you manually change the Total Arrangement Amount field and continue to select the Account Balance(s) check boxes, the Total Arrangement Amount will be recalculated based on the Account Balance(s) check box and not the amount that you manually had entered. (CR ) Agreements Telephone Added the Disconnect Type column to the summary table on the Agreements screens. The Disconnect Type will display the description such as Permanent, Nonpay, etc. (CR 93492) Modified to default the proper Charge Code 10 for an OCP in a package on the Maintain Catalog Item dialog box. (CR ) Internet Added the Internet ID Required check box on the Service Types screen. If Internet is selected on the Internal Service Type field, this field is available. Modified so when closing an Internet service order, an Internet agreement must exist if the Internet ID Required check box is selected on the Service Types screen. (CR ) Changed an Internet Plan so when adding/modifying/deleting in Agreement mode to display the proper record. (CR ) Other Added the Bill Cycle field to the General > Billing tab. This field will display in both Service Orders and Agreement mode. (CR ) Payments Noncash Payments Modified the Bill Print Description field to not display if the Print Details check box is not selected for Payments Other Than Cash on the Bill Print Options > Descriptions tab. (CR ) Payment Entry Changed the payment distribution so that only the active balance types will display in the default distribution. An inactive balance type can be added to the distribution if necessary. (CR ) Corrected so the Bill Print Description will always default from what is set up for Payments in Administration > Billing > Bill Print Options. This will prevent payments from being entered or scanned with a blank Bill Print Description. (CR ) 4/5/2006 Page 6
7 Payment Entry (continued) Corrected so when the account is out-of-balance during billing, you are able to make a payment. However, if the account is not in billing, you will not be able to make a payment with the account out-of-balance. (CR ) Administration Billing > Wireless Roaming Agreement Corrected an "Unexpected System Problem" error when deleting a roaming agreement with no active line ranges. (CR ) Added the Stop Date field to the screen and summary table. (CR ) Changed the sort order of the summary table to sort in descending order of the Effect Dt and within each effective date sort ascending by Roamer ID. (CR ) Products & Services Catalog Corrected an "Unexpected System Problem" error when clicking on the Add Promotion button on the Package Promotion tab. (CR ) Added the Carry-Over check box to the OCP tab to determine if the OCP has carry over minutes. (CR ) General County Added the Require Street Suffix check box. If this field is selected, the street suffix will be required when setting up entries in the Administration > General > Street Address Guide for that county. (CR ) Service Area Added the Bank Account ID to the Service Area > GL Accounting Screen. If the Bank Account ID on the Service Area screen is populated, that is the Bank Account that will be used when entering payments for that Service Area. (CR ) Service Types Added the Max Login IDs and Max Addresses fields, which are only available when Internet is selected as the Internal Service Type. This will control the number of Internet IDs and addresses a customer can have per agreement. Zero is the default value for both the Max Login IDs and Max Addresses. This means you can have an unlimited number of Login IDs or addresses. If you have more Login IDs or addresses entered on the Customer Management > Service Orders screen than what the max allowed, you will receive an error on the Validate or Close buttons. If you have more Login IDs or addresses entered on the Customer Management > Agreements > Internet screen, you will receive an error on the dialog box in which you are entering the information. (CR ) Added the Cross-Billing Flag field. The new Cross-Billing Flag field contains a dropdown field with the following selections: Blank (default), Combined Usage, Separate Usage. If this field is populated with anything other than blank, it will override the Cross-Billing Flag field located on Administration > General > Company Options. (CR ) 4/5/2006 Page 7

(CR ) Directory Publishing Added a 911 exclude flag to the Administration > Report Options > Directory Publishing screen that will allow you to select a range of line numbers to be excluded from the E911 Extract. (CR ) Service Order Work Management Default Charges Added choices to the Event Code drop-down for Start 900 Block, Stop 900 Block, Start International Block, and Stop International Block. (CR ) Resource Notification Methods Modified to allow for other method names linked to internal and external types. (CR ) Task Removed the Cost fields from the Task dialog box and renamed the frame to Hours. (CR ) Removed the Estimated Cost field from this screen. (CR ) Location Adjustments Location Corrected an "Unexpected System Problem" error that would occur on occasion when accessing the Location screen in ivue via the TE Location button found on the CB module. (CR ) Corrected so when you create a copy of a location on the Location > Location screen, that the copy includes the data contained on the Plant tab. (CR ) Corrected the search area so now when searching for an inactive location by using the Service Address option in the Search Type field, you can now locate the location. (CR ) Modified so the Action Code field can now be updated on any type of status for a location. The Update Transaction File check box will still have to be selected to be able to update the Action Code. (CR ) Modified the Disconnect check box to not be available on the Connect Location dialog box in Agreement mode. (CR ) CARE Activity Corrected to allow an active or inactive account to be selected. 9 Deposit Transfer/Adjustments Corrected to require the Reference field when on the Adjustments > Adjust tab. The reference entered will now display on the Reports/Processes > Capital Credits > Member > Transaction Activity Listing report. (CR ) AR Adjustments Transfer AR To AR Changed the way debits and credits are applied so that any debit or credit balances are properly adjusted. A credit balance will be applied to a debit first, and a debit balance will be applied to a credit balance. (CR ) Credits/Collections Transfer AR To UN Added the ability to borrow Toll History amounts from another account when there is not enough Toll History to cover the amount of the write on the account being written off. Added the feature that looks for Balance Transfers before allowing an account to borrow a Toll History amount. Changed the Transfer screen to be more efficient. (CR ) Corrected an "Unexpected System Problem" error when trying to type the name of the Revenue Group in the drop-down. (CR ) Credit Refunds Corrected to apply balances to the proper GL Accounts. (CR ) NSF Fixed so the Search Type of Customer will now find all payments including Web payment for that customer. (CR ) Changed to properly account for payments that do not have Payment modes. (CR ) Uncollectables Service Orders UN Account Changed so when displaying UN - Uncollectable Payments and CC - Capital Credit Adj To UN on the Transaction(s) tab, a payment will now display as instead of a payment. (CR ) Corrected an "Unexpected System Problem" error with the Apply Capital Credits check box when the Cooperative check box was not selected on the Administration > General > Company Options screen. If the Cooperative check box is selected, the Member field and Apply Capital Credits check box will be available. (CR ) Corrected the Entry Date field to allow dates from 01/01/1950 through 30 years from today's date. (CR ) Mass Nonpay Disconnects Added the From Line field, which will allow you to search by the Agreements line number. (CR ) 4/5/2006 Page 9
10 Mass Nonpay Disconnects (continued) Changed so if using the Mass Disconnect functionality, and the service order type set up in Administration does not a have a disconnect type defined, "Permanent" will be defaulted into the Disconnect Type field. (CR ) Modified so on close of a Disconnect order, if a C&C has a proration, then the Additional Information field will not be validated. (CR ) Mass Nonpay Reconnects Changed to have the Payment Received check box default to selected. (CR ) Added additional columns to the table. It will now display the same columns as the Mass Nonpay Disconnect screen displays. (CR ) Corrected so the C&C is properly added to the Service Order when selecting the Default C&Cs check box. (CR ) Modified to show accounts that have never made payments if the Payment Received box is not selected. (CR ) Service Orders Modified a Connect order so the Billing hyperlink will be available when the order is closed. (CR ) Modified so that you return to the last service order you were on if you navigate away from the Service Orders screen and come back. If you Void the order, then you go to the next pending service order. If you create a service order, then you will be positioned on that service order. (CR ) Modified so you no longer receive the error: "OCP start date must be greater than or equal to toll connect date." when doing a Telephone Number Change service order. The OCPs and LD Acct codes are now allowed to keep their original start dates. (CR ) Fixed an "Unexpected System Problem" error when inquiring on Products & Services on a closed service order. (CR ) Corrected so the Credit Limit will now be set to $100 when processing the order through GLDS. (CR ) Capital Credits Member Information Modified so when an address was changed, the Capital Credits > Member Information screen was changed immediately. (CR ) Reports/Processes Customer/Account Cash Listing Added the Account and Agreement fields to the generated output. (CR ) Renamed the Period field to be Billing Period. (CR ) 4/5/2006 Page 10
11 Class Of Service Added a new report to generate class of service assigned to each agreement. The Class Of Service report is grouped by the class of service displaying the Agreement, Account, Name, and Disconnect Date (if applicable) for each class of service. At the end of each section, a total for each class of service type is displayed with a total of all records at the end of the report. (CR ) Credit Rating Added a new report to generate credit ratings. This report will be progressive that if you select A as the Credit Rating, the report will be generated for A, B, C, and D. If you select D as the Credit Rating, the report will only generate C and D. When you first access the report screen, the Credit History Points default to a -1, which means this report will run for all points. If you change this field, the report will generate for the specified range. This report will be generated and sorted by account within the credit rating. (CR ) Deposit Listing Modified to be run for specific periods. If you run for a specific period, a date range can not be used. (CR ) Added the Refund Period field, which will allow you to display all refunds that were done in a specific period. Note: If the Refund Period field is populated the Deposit Date field must be left blank. If both the Refund Period and Deposit Date fields are populated, you will receive an error informing you that one of the fields must be left blank and will be unable to run the report until one of the options are erased. (CR ) Deposit Transactions Fixed the Period, Account, and Journal fields so they display correctly. (CR ) Pay Arrangements Added the Service Area field so this report can be run for all or specific service areas. (CR ) Ported Numbers Added a new report to display all ported in or ported out agreement IDs within a date range. (CR ) Service Order SO Summary Corrected the Taken By field so you can now run the report for a specific user. (CR ) Billing > Local Billing AR Summary Renamed the Period field to be Billing Period. (CR ) Corrected to display the full amount without rounding the cents portion of the total in the Journal Totals section. (CR ) Corrected when selecting the Final Run check box. (CR ) 4/5/2006 Page 11
12 AR Summary (continued) Corrected to no longer receive an error when running the report with Activity of DAK selected. (CR ) Billing > Optional Billing E-Rate Modified to display an error message if the agreement entered is cross-billed to another agreement. (CR ) Penalty Calculation Corrected to properly populate the Balance Type on an OCP when doing a Disconnect Service Order. This will prevent the error "Balance Type Admin Record Does Not Exist For Balance Type" when running the report. (CR ) Transfer POS Invoice/Misc Cred Fixed the GL Debit and Credit columns to display the correct amounts. (CR ) Corrected so if a customer's account information and POS transaction descriptions cannot fit on the bottom of a page, the entire entry will be moved to the next page of the report. (CR ) Extracts CCS/LIDB/CNAM Extract Modified to correctly display the Effective Date when a disconnect order is done on a customer that is affected. (CR ) Invoices And Letters E911 Extract Corrected so the new master location will be picked up when a Move service order is closed, and the Require 911 check box is selected on the Administration > General > County. (CR ) Delinquent Listing Added a multiple select Print Code field so companies with multiple print/qualification codes can run the listing for just one group of those codes. This will allow them to run cable or Internet delinquents separate from the telephone ones. (CR ) Added a new parameter called Record Sort. The new field will allow you to sort the delinquent listing by either account or agreement within the individual service areas. (CR ) Corrected to display the pay arrangements as they were set up on the Pay Arrangement field located on the Administration > Report Options > Delinquent Options. (CR ) Added a new field called Combine Print Codes By Account. This feature allows sites using multiple print codes to combine them onto one Delinquent Notice instead of the default of producing one delinquent notice per print code. (CR ) 4/5/2006 Page 12
13 Delinquent Listing (continued) Enhanced to combine usage cross-bills and have delinquent balances omitted if no active agreement of that internal service type is on the account. The delinquent balances will only be omitted if the Combine Print Codes By Account field is true that is located on the Administration > Report Options > Delinquent Options. (CR ) Added an enhancement to the Reports/Processes > Invoices and Letters > Delinquent Listing Report. Combined usage crossbills will have delinquent balances omitted if no active agreement of that internal service type is on the account. The delinquent balances will only be omitted if the Combine Print Codes By Account field is true that is located on the Administration > Report Options > Delinquent Options screen. (CR ) Corrected the way penalties are addressed and displayed. If there are multiple qualification codes set up, and an account has balances with the multiple codes, the penalty will be calculated using the code on the balance type and will display the penalty amount from the Rate field on the Administration > Report Options > Delinquent Options > Pnlty/Delq > Penalty/Delinquent dialog box > Penalty Options tab. If the penalty amount is a flat rate, then the amount entered on the Rate field will not be greater than the value entered on the Penalty Flat Rate Maximum field located at Administration > Report Options > Delinquent Options. (CR ) Delinquent Notice Removed the Period field. (CR ) Modified the Reminder Notice Heading and the Final Notice Heading fields on the Administration > Report Options > Delinquent Options to now allow you to create a label up to 25 characters in length. (CR ) Modified the delinquent notice to remove the "Y" at the end of the Payment Arrangement. (CR ) Internet Create Internet Usage Charges Added Part C Overage C&Cs to the report. (CR ) Changed the before procedures for the Reports/Processes > Internet > Create Internet Usage Charges that will increase the efficiency of the report and decrease its processing time. The resulting increases in efficiency will decrease the amount of hits to the database, thus, allowing the entire system to function at a more desirable level. (CR ) Delete Inactive Internet ID Added a Sort field to the report so you are now able to sort by account, agreement, or name. (CR ) Uncollectable Uncollectable Account Added a new Uncollectable Account report, which will display a list of uncollectable accounts and any associated transactions.
