4 1 INTRODUCTION The document listed below is a step-by-step instruction for users to use the Zensar service after change in their address from zensar.in to zensar.com. While setup documentation for various applications are provided below, we recommend using the Zimbra Desktop application to access your mailbox for better user experience. 1.1 Why is my address being changed? The address is being changed to maintain uniform domain across Organization, However the platform will be the same with improved user experience. 1.2 How long my old address will work? Once you receive a confirmation that your address has been changed from zensar.in to zensar.com, the earlier zensar.in address will be active for next 30 days, so you will have to communicate your new address with client and peers. Also you need to request customer to allow new url s if you are using customer provided VPN. 1.3 Would there be any data loss when address is changed? No, there wouldn t be any data loss due to this change. 1.4 What if I am not able to sign in with the old webmail URL? The URL for webmail is being changed to so to login to your webmail you have to sign in with your new zensar.com address and Zenlounge password 1.5 What else is going to change with the address? Apart from your address, Login and Password would also be changed; your sign in user id would be your new Zensar.com id and the password for sign in would be same as your Zenlounge login password. 5 1.6 Which setting are needed to be modified in before modifying setting in client? Most important thing, before you modify setting in client for POP Configuration you would need to login to your webmail and modify a setting, else the client would download all the s from your inbox, creating duplicate s in your client. Preferences >> Mail >> When Message are accessed via POP >>Select Option to Only Download new mails beginning now 1.7 Which setting are needed to be modified in client? s Setting needed to be modified in client are as below Setting to be changed for a POP3 or IMAP account in MS Outlook I. Open Outlook II. Click on the File tab. III. Click Account Settings, and then click Account Settings. IV. Select the account for which you want to modify and then click Change. 6 V. Under User Information, in the Address box, type the address that was assigned by your administrator. VI. Under Server Information, in the POP Incoming mail server box, type the complete name of the server "pops.zensar.com"; in case you are using IMAP configuration, type the complete name of the server "imaps.zensar.com". VII. Under Server Information, in the SMTP Outgoing mail server box, type the complete name of the server "smtps.zensar.com. VIII. Under Logon Information, in the Password box, type our domain password which you use to login in zenlounge. If you do not want to be prompted to enter your account password each time you send and receive messages, select the Remember password check box. (Note: You will have to change the password in outlook, whenever you change your domain password) IX. Click on More Setting > Advanced >> The Server Ports should be as below, if its POP Configuration it should be 995 with SSL, in case its IMAP Configuration it should be 993 with SSL, for SMTP the ports should be either 587 with TLS or 465 with SSL X. 9 1.7.2 Setting to be changed for a POP3 or IMAP account in Windows Live Mail I. Open Windows Live Mail by clicking the Start button Picture of Start button. In the search box, type Mail, and then, in the list of results, click Windows Live Mail. II. Click the account you want to change. Under the General Tab, change your address to type the address that was assigned by your administrator III. Click the Servers tab, In the Incoming Mail type pops.zensar.com and in Outgoing mail type smtps.zensar.com. IV. In username, type the address that was assigned by your e- mail administrator V. In Password type in your domain login password, which you use login in zenlounge (Note: You will have to change the password here, every time you change your domain password) VI. In Advanced check if the SMTP Port is 465, IMAP Port is 993 and POP port is 995 with option checked This server requires a secure connection (SSL) VII. 10 VIII. The IMAP configuration is shown in below figure Settings to be changed for Zimbra Desktop I. Open Zimbra Desktop by clicking the Start button Picture of Start button. In the search box, type Mail, and then, in the list of results, click Zimbra Desktop. II. Click the Setup option in right corner of Zimbra Desktop. III. Click the Edit option. IV.
