Conversion from inside to outside measurements by means of the reversing screw on the measuring stop. The UNIMASTER comprises the measuring element with the micrometer, the shock-resistant dial gauge and the moving measuring stop. The heights of the gauge slides with the carbide measuring pins are adjustable; a pair of these is intended for measuring grooves and centring shoulders. A setting standard measuring 225/250 mm in length is also supplied for setting the measuring element. The extensions comprise a sturdy steel protective pipe with Ø 38 mm with integrated carbide-tipped gauge blocks passing though it, guided in short bearings. The gauge blocks are fitted with a plane and a spheroidal measuring face and are subject to resilient force. The extensions are held together perfectly well by a coupling system which enables them to be assembled quickly in a plane-parallel configuration.
