3 Getting Started Guide Foreign Exchange Administration Technical Support Go to CashPro Online > Support > Help > Contact Us. Introduction This guide provides the information needed to create, entitle, and approve a Foreign Exchange user within CashPro Online. To create, entitle, and approve a Foreign Exchange user, complete the following: 1. Create a user. 2. Approve the user request. 3. Assign detailed entitlements to the user. Creating a User To create a user within CashPro Online, complete the following: 1. Log in to CashPro Online. 2. Click Admin. The Users tab displays by default. 3. Click Add User. The Add New User screen displays. 4. Enter the required User Information. Required fields are indicated with an asterisk (*). If a required field is completed, a displays. If a required field is not completed, an displays indicating action is required. A User ID must contain 7 11 alphanumeric characters and may not include special characters. 5. Select the desired User Type. Note: Point to the ( ) icon for more information. 6. Click Submit & Continue. The Assigning Applications screen displays. 7. Select the Foreign Exchange check box. 4 8. Select the desired Access Level for Foreign Exchange: If this user is a General User, the Access Level must be General Use. If this user is an Administrator, the Access Level must be Administration or Full Access. To... Entitle the user to perform only administrative tasks for the selected application Note: This user will not be able to work within the selected application. Entitle the user to work within the selected application Note: The user will not be able to perform administrative tasks for the selected application. Entitle the user to perform administrative tasks and work within the selected application a. Select Administration from the Access Level drop-down menu. Note: The administrator must be assigned at least one Foreign Exchange account. b. Go to step 9. a. Select General Use from the Access Level drop-down menu. b. Go to step 9. a. Select Full Access from the Access Level dropdown menu. b. Go to step Click Submit. A message displays indicating the user has been submitted for processing. Important: For companies with dual administration, a second administrator must approve this request for the changes to take effect. Depending on your company s setup, a Multi-Key SafePass token may be required. 10. Go to step 3 of Reviewing and Approving User Requests. Reviewing and Approving User Requests To review and approve user requests, complete the following: 1. Log in to CashPro Online. 2. Click Admin. The Users tab displays by default. 3. Click the Approvals tab. A list of users with requests pending approval displays. 4. Is the desired user displayed? Yes Go to step 5. No a. Enter the search criteria using the Status, User ID, and/or User Name fields. b. Click Search. The search results display. c. Go to step Click the expand icon (+) next to the Status of the desired User ID. The User ID expands displaying all pending requests. CashPro Online Getting Started Guide 4
5 6. Click the expand icon (+) for the Request Type, if available. 7. Review the request(s). 8. Select the check box for each request you wish to approve. To select all requests for one user, select the check box to the left of the +/- icon in the row of the desired User ID. To select all requests for all users, select the check box to the left of Status in the header row. To view request details, click either the expand icon (+) or the hyperlinked application name of the desired Request Type. If a user request is not approved within 15 days, it may expire. 9. Click Approve. 10. Does the token authentication screen display? Note: If prompted, you must activate your token before authenticating your identity with a token. For more information, refer to Using a Multi-Key SafePass Token. Yes Go to step 11. No Go to step Authenticate your identity using one of the following tokens: Token Description Multi-Key To operate this token, complete the following: SafePass a. Press the red OTP1 button. The one-time password displays. Token b. Enter the displayed password in the Please enter the number displayed for your code field on the token authentication screen. c. Click Next. d. Go to step 12. Vasco One- Time Password SafePass Token Note: Vasco One-Time Password SafePass tokens can no longer be ordered or activated. To operate this token, complete the following: a. Press the arrow button to turn on the token. b. Enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN) in the token. The token displays APPL1. c. Press 1 to generate a one-time password. d. Enter the displayed password in the Please enter the number displayed for your code field on the token authentication screen. e. Click Next. f. Go to step 12. CashPro Online Getting Started Guide 5
6 12. Does a message display indicating your token has been authenticated? Yes Click Next. The request is removed from the approval queue. Go to step 2 of Assigning Detailed Entitlements. No A message displays indicating the request was unable to be processed. The request status displays with a warning icon ( ). Point to this icon ( ) for further instructions. Note: Requests that are rejected once remain in Approvals and display with a Status of Resubmit. To resubmit a request, repeat steps Point to the icon for further instructions. Assigning Detailed Entitlements To assign detailed entitlements for Foreign Exchange, complete the following: 1. Log in to CashPro Online. 2. Click Admin. The Users tab displays by default. 3. Is the desired user displayed? Yes Go to step 4. No a. Enter the search criteria using the Status, User ID, and/or User Name fields. b. Click Search. The search results display. c. Go to step Click the desired User ID. The User Profile tab displays by default. 5. Click the Application Entitlements tab. Assigning Applications displays. 6. Select at least one legal entity from the Available Legal Entities list box. 7. Click. The legal entity displays within Selected Legal Entities. To select all available legal entities, click. To move an entity to the Available Legal Entities list, select the entity and click. To move all entities to the Available Legal Entities list, click. 8. Do you wish to assign this user Trading Entitlements? Yes a. Select the Trading Entitlements check box. b. Go to step 9. No Go to step 10. CashPro Online Getting Started Guide 6
7 9. Assign one of the following trader role entitlements: For... Trader Note: A Trader can enter trade details, negotiate an exchange rate, and execute a trade. a. Click Trader. Note: Clicking Trader enables the options in steps 9b and 9d f. b. Select the Allow Settlement Template at Trade Entry check box, if desired. This entitlement allows the trader to add settlement instructions during trade entry. Selecting this check box enables the options in step 9c. c. Click one of the following, if enabled: Validation Required Settlement instructions entered by this user require validation. No Validation Required Settlement instructions entered by this user do not require validation. d. Enter the user s Maximum Trade Size, if desired. Note: Leaving Maximum Trade Size blank indicates no maximum trade size. e. Enter the user s Daily Trading Limit, if desired. Leaving Daily Trading Limit blank indicates no daily trading limit. The Daily Trading Limit must be greater than or equal to the Maximum Trade Size. f. Select the desired option from the Maximum Tenor drop-down menu. Trader Assistant g. Go to step 10. Note: A Trader Assistant can enter trades and attach instructions to Multi-trades. a. Click Trader Assistant. Note: Clicking Trader Assistant enables the check box option in step 9b. b. Select the Allow Settlement Template at Trade Entry check box, if desired. Note: Selecting this option enables the options in step 9c. c. Click one of the following, if enabled: Validation Required Settlement instructions entered by this user require validation. 8 10. Do you wish to assign this user Window Forward / Drawdown Entitlements? Yes The Creator entitlement gives the user: Access to the Window Drawdowns tab The ability to confirm window forward trades The ability to execute a drawdown The ability to enter drawdown instructions when combined with the appropriate Settlement Entitlements a. Select the Creator check box. b. Go to step 11. No Go to step Do you wish to assign this user Settlement Entitlements? Yes a. Select the desired role(s). Template Administrator This user can create and edit trade templates. Note: Selecting this role enables the options in step 11b. Creator This user can write settlement instructions for a trade. Note: Selecting this role enables the options in step 11c. Validator This user can validate settlement instructions for other traders. b. Click the same Validation option, if enabled, for the Template Administrator role as in step 9c for the Trader or Trader Assistant role: Validation Required Template instructions submitted by this user require validation. No Validation Required Template instructions submitted by this user do not require validation. c. Click the same Validation option, if enabled, for the Creator role as in step 9c for the Trader or Trader Assistant role: Validation Required Settlement instructions written freehand by this user for a trade require validation. 9 12. Click Submit. A confirmation message displays. Note: The entitlement request is sent to the approval queue. If your company has Dual Administration, a second administrator must approve the request.
