1 1 Each online trainee must create an account to purchase and take an online course. To begin: Click the create account at the top of the page.

2 Create an account by entering all the required Trainee information. The person creating the account must be the person taking the couse. The first and last name you enter here is exactly how your name will appear on your Training Certificate. 2

3 Under Primary Organization, begin typing your company name, then select your company name from the drop down list. Click the down arrow in the Item List to view more company names if you do not see your company location. 3

4 When all fields are completed, click save. 4

5 You will know your account was created and you are logged in when you see your name at the top. 5

6 Click on Foodhandler in the top navigation bar and select Online Foodhander from the Drop Down list. 6

7 Select to take your SafeStaff Online Foodhandler Course in English or in Spanish. 7

8 Be sure the Quantity reads one (1) and click Add to Cart. 8

9 You will see a confirmation that the item has been added to your cart. Click the Proceed to Checkout button. 9

10 Confirm the item in your cart is correct and is the right quantity and language. Click Remove if there is anything in your cart you do not wish to purchase. 10

11 Please be advised that nothing will be shipped when purchasing online courses. The shipping address is just part of your account and the shopping cart. 11

12 12 Enter your payment information by chosing your Method of Paymnet. Enter Card number, Name on card, Expiration date, and CSC code. The CSC code is the 3 numbers in the white strip on the back of a Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit card or the 4 numbers on the front of an American Expres credit card. Then click Submit Order.

13 13 You will receive an on screen order confirmation. To begin the course, click the orange START COURSE button.

14 14 This will open a new tab and take you to the Training Portal home page. You will land in your Classrom on th My Courses page. Click on the Safestaff Employe Foodhandler Training course listed under On Demand Programs.

15 Click the Start Course button. 15

16 16 This opens your course in a new tab. Click on the Safestaff Employee Foodhandler English course name.

17 Click Enter. 17

18 Your courswe will automatically launch and begin. 18

19 19 Be sure you have the sound turned up on your computer. Click on the Notes Tab to read along with your narator. At the end of each section the progress bar will be filled in and you will be able to click NEXT to move to the next section.

20 Be sure to click submit after completing any exercises or quizzes. Click continue to move to the next screen. 20

21 After you complete the course, click next to complete your course assessment. 21

22 When you are finished with the assessment, click next. 22

23 Read the instructions for printing your certificate, then click Exit Course. 23

24 Close your course tab. 24

25 Close training portal tab. 25

26 Click on Obtain Certificate. 26

27 Under Pending Credit, Click Obtain Certificate. 27

28 Type in your company name. This is exactly how your company name will appear on your certificate. 28

29 Enter your date of birth. 29

30 Click continue. 30

31 Electronically sign your name and you certifiy that you yourself completed the listed course. Then, click Process Credit. 31

32 Click View Florida Certificate and/or wallet card. 32

33 Name your certificate file and select the file location where you would like to download and save your certificate. 33

34 Click on the file to open and view your certificate. 34

35 Your date of birth and company/business name pull from the name you typed in when submitting for credit. Your name pulls from your online account created at the beginning of this process. There is a $5.00 for any certificate corrections. 35

36 Print a copy, write in the expiration date (Date of training + 3 years) and take to your employer. Call for assistance Monday thrugh Friday from 8:30 am 5:00 pm EST. 36

37 When finished training for the day, click Log Out to leave the training portal. 37

38 Click Sign Out to exit and sign out of your account. 38

39 You will know you are signed out when your name no longer appears at the top of the page. 39
