5 Charging ipads are to be charged at home and brought to school charged Charging takes several hours depending on the baaery level You will not overcharge the ipad due to Apples preven5on of overcharging

6 Cleaning Do NOT wipe the screen with anything but a sof cloth Do NOT spray ANY water or other cleaner on the screen Keep the ipad out of extreme heat, cold, or moist environments CAN USE: Glasses cloth or electronic wipes

7 Cases DO NOT TAKE ipad OUT OF CASE EVER!!!!! Please do not pick off the velcro holding the ipad! While walking in the hallway always have your ipad zipped closed or strap around ipad.

9 Another Reminder. This is a school device can be checked Internet access is s5ll through LightSpeed (Filtering system) even at home It s5ll will be tracked Even afer school hours

10 SeVngs Wi- Fi (When at home) SeVng>>>Wi- Fi>>>Choose a Network (find your network)>>>might have to type in password Changing Wallpaper SeVngs>>>Brightness & Wallpaper>>>Wallpaper>>>Choose between Wallpaper or Camera Roll

11 SeVngs Passcode Lock SeVngs>>>General>>>Passcode Lock>>>Turn On>>>Set Passcode(will need to enter it twice) If parents or teachers ask for passcode please allow them onto your ipad! Teachers will be able to clear passcode if students get locked out.

12 Logging into Lightspeed Safari Please type in Poker.com (Not You) Log in using your Username and Password

13 Apple ID Crea5ng an Apple ID requires you to be 13. For students under 13 parents please help students create Apple ID. Students will need to know password for teacher to be able to push apps to your students ipads.

14 Apple ID Open up the App Store The App Store will look like this Madison- Grant United School Corpora5on

15 Apple ID Find a Free App (it won t download) and tap it Will show a brief details about app and tap FREE

16 Apple ID Tap Install App Tap Create New Apple ID

17 Apple ID Tap Next Push finger up on ipad to scroll down. Tap Agree and then tap Agree again.

18 Apple ID Your will be your My Big Campus Password is going to be 8 characters long and must have an uppercase leaer, number and a lowercase leaer.

19 Apple ID Now it will ask for some Security Info. Tap ques5on and choose a ques5ons and then type answer. Repeat it 2 more 5mes.

20 Apple ID Op5onal Rescue - Parents of students under the age of 13 please put your here if you have one. Date of Birth*****If you are under the age of 13 please ask your parents to put in their birthday.*****

22 Apple ID Tap Next Make sure None is selected for Billing Informa5on

23 Apple ID Enter your billing address and phone number Note: They will not send anything or call you.

24 Apple ID Tap Next A screen should pop up saying a verifica5on will be sent to your address you entered earlier in the process. Then tap Done.

25 Checking for Verifica5on in MBC Click on Home BuAon and look for MBC

26 Checking Verifica5on in MBC Type in your Username and Password

27 Checking Verifica5on in MBC In the School you can either start typing Madison- Grant, Park, or Summitville or type in the zip code

32 Checking Verifica5on in MBC Once you click Verify it will bring you to Apple site where you will need to type in your Apple ID ( address) and password. Then account will be verified and you can start downloading apps.

33 APPLE ID USE If you download too many apps and your teachers can t push apps to you then we will ask you to delete some apps the ipad is intended for school use first!
