The Default Range Offsets are the settings for the Forward and Back Arrows. In this example, the default is set so that each click on the Back-Arrow jumps back 5 days; each click on the Forward Arrow jumps 1 day. 3 Highlight and replace the Forward/Back values as needed. 4 Select the Units from the dropdown list. 2 5 If you check Re-apply defaults for each new chart, you can change the date range for results on one chart, and the defaults will apply to the next chart you open. If it is not checked, when you change the date range for results on one chart, those changes will apply to the following charts that you open during your current PowerChart/SurgiNet/FirstNet session. 6 Click Save, then OK, Change Your View (Table, Group, List) Click the Table, Group or List button to change the view of the current results. To set up this view as your default view, click Options, then Properties. In the Flowsheet Properties window, click Save, then OK. Table View Table view has both a vertical and horizontal scroll bar to move through results. 2
3 Group View Group view scrolls through results vertically only. List View A list of results sorted by date. The view includes the reference range. 3
4 Choosing the Results Displayed 1 Click Options, then Properties in the toolbar. 2 Click the Defaults tab. 3 Select the results to display: Clinical range refers to the collection date and time. When Clinical Range is set, then you can adjust the Adjustment Increment (default = 7 Days) for results. Posting range refers to the date and time that the result was entered into the EMR. Result count specifies a number of results that you set up in the Default Result Count section of the window. Note that this can be slow to load if used, start at 100 results and 3 years. When Result Count is set, you can adjust the Adjustment Increment (default = 50) for results. Filter by selected encounter displays the results for the encounter or account number displayed on the banner bar. 4 Click Save to make these settings your default and then click OK. 4
5 Changing Font Size in Flowsheets 1 Click Options on the toolbar, then select Properties. 2 Use the Settings tab to change the font size in flowsheets. 3 Click Save. 4 Click OK. 5
6 Standard Default Flowsheet Properties 1 In the Properties window, click the Defaults tab. These are the standard Default Properties for most flowsheets. 2 Make your adjustments (see Choosing the Results Displayed on page 4). 3 Click Save. Note: The default Lab/Rad, Results and Medications Flowsheet Properties are not the standard properties. Those default settings are shown below: 6
