1 Setting up Video onto ELK RMS (Touchscreen) Systems

2 Among many other IP cameras that will connect to ELK RMS (Touchscreen) Software Ness offers a wide range of solutions. A list of these includes; Ness M1 Single Channel Video Server ( ) Ness Ultimate Hybrid DVR - 4 Channel ( ) Ness Ultimate Hybrid DVR - 8 Channel ( ) Ness Ultimate Hybrid DVR - 8 Channel ( ) Ness Megapixel IP Camera s ( & ) The following details the settings required in the RM-Setup utility software for each model system. When setting these to the M1 Touchscreen / RMS software the Camera type needs to be set to Custom and configured as follows. Ness M1 Single Channel Video Server ( ) Ness M1 Single Channel Video Server ( ) Ensure the Camera Stream type is set to Still Camera and the query is set to /image.jpg For the older version IP_Box servers ( ) the settings should be the same, except the query should be set to /Jpeg/CamImg.jpg (Note the I in CamImg is a capital i)

3 Ness 1.3 Megapixel IP Cameras ( & ) When setting these to the M1 Touchscreen / RMS software, the Camera type needs to be set to Custom and configured as follows. In RMS Set-up set the Camera as per the following; IP Address = IP as set in the camera, Port = As per camera (80) Username = As per Camera Admin Password - As per set in Camera 1234 Ensure the Camera Stream type is set to Still Camera and the query is set to /cgi-bin/jpg/image.cgi? Ness Ultimate Hybrid DVR s ( , 292 & 293) X = the DVR camera input. e.g. Camera 1 = /snapshot.get?channel=1 Camera 2 = /snapshot.get?channel=2 Camera 3 = /snapshot.get?channel=3 Camera 4 = /snapshot.get?channel=4 In RMS Set-up set the Camera as per the following; IP Address = IP as set in the camera, Port = As per camera (80) Username = Password = Ensure the Camera Stream type is set to Still Camera and the query is set to /snapshot.get?channel=x

4 Custom settings for optional data snaps such as Sattelite weather and weather radar pics. The system can also include as an option to CCTV camera view, other data obtained from the Internet such as weather Satellite pics, weather radar shots, traffic cameras, or share updates etc. Weather Stocks Adelaide City New York To set these up, in RMS Set-up set the Camera as per the following; IP Address = URL of the image you wish to display. refer below for examples. Set the Camera Stream type is set to Image Capture and update image as required. e.g. every 15 minutes. Examples.
