1 Work Instructions Portal Registration General User

2 Purpose Use this procedure to register for the as a General User. Trigger Perform this procedure when access Distribution Portal for the first time and you wish to register as a General Customer. Prerequisites You don't have an account in the Distribution Portal. You have an address. Menu Path Use the following URL to begin this transaction: You can also access via Page 2 of 15

4 3. As required, complete/review the following fields: Field R/O/C Description * Contact Required The address by which the user wishes to be contacted, and which will be used as their username to log on to the Jemena Electricity Distribution Portal. trainer.jemena@gmail.com Page 4 of 15

As required, complete/review the following fields: Field R/O/C Description CAPTCHA Required The CAPTCHA is a type of challengeresponse test which involves the automatic generation of a random number/ letter sequence. This sequence needs to be entered into the blank field correctly by the person registering to confirm that the user is human. This number sequence is case sensitive. 6 6. Open your personal you have registered with to display your registration confirmation . The registration confirmation is sent to the address you enter on the Jemena Electricity Distribution Portal registration screen. As required, complete/review the following fields: Field R/O/C Description * Password Required The password used to access your Jemena Electricity Distribution Portal. ***** Your password needs to have 10 characters, and at least 3 of the following elements: Uppercase letter Lowercase letter Number Non-alphanumeric character (e.g.!@#$) Other character (e.g. Unicode, Asian characters, characters not directly available on keyboard) * Confirm Password Required The password used to access your Jemena Electricity Distribution Portal. ***** Page 9 of 15
