DETERMINE WINDOWS PHONE OS VERSION DEVICE REGISTRATION MobileIron PIN Begin registration now on your device, swipe left and scroll down and select Settings Locate & select Workplace Add your Eli Lilly Account to your WP8 device. Select Add Account Enter your Eli Lilly and Company Credentials Enter MobileIron credentials PIN from message Account Added & click done SET A PASSCODE ON YOUR DEVICE Locate Mobile@work to create new password. Click on Set Enter passcode & reconfirm and click on doneon your device Account added & click done NAVIGATE TO LILLY MAIL ACCOUNT PROFILE In the setting, select the Lilly Mail Account LLY Z1_BASIC_MAIL on your home screen or scroll down and select this account Enter your address & Lilly Net password and insert Domain information than select Save Initiate the sync of your mail, calendar, and contacts TIPS, TRIPS & GENERAL INFORMATION Where is my Calendar? 3 Windows Phone 8 Quick Setup Instructions * Only Windows Phone 8.1 devices can be used within the Windows Phone BYOD program. *IMPORTANT The setup registration process requires a six digit pin on your device. Please note that each model and operating system version vary. The guide below will only provide high level guidance for how to set up the devices. 6-Jan-15 2

DETERMINE WINDOWS PHONE OS VERSION To determine the OS version of Window Phone you have to go to settings and about, the phone information will be displayed in detail and you can check the Software: Windows Phone DEVICE REGISTRATION This document aid is designed to help you get started with setting up the Window Phone8 to access Lilly Network. You will need to complete ALL sections of this User Guide, unless otherwise stated.the set-up process should take approximately 30 minutes to complete and should ideally be completed within a single sitting. 2.1 MobileIron PIN Please ensure you have received a MobileIron that contains instructions on and a MobileIron pin before continuing. Your pin is a one time security feature that adds extra protection to user accounts. **If you have any issues Please contact your administrator for help** Your MobileIron will look similar to the following: MobileIron Registration: User Name: V5X7301 Server Address: mi9.lilly.com Registration PIN: (This one-time-use PIN is only valid for 240 hours from arrival of this ). 6-Jan-15 3

5 2.2 Begin registration now on your device, swipe left and scroll down and select Settings. 2.3 Locate & select Workplace. 6-Jan-15 4

6 2.4 Add your Eli Lilly Account to your WP8 device. Select Add Account. 2.5 Enter your Eli Lilly and Company Credentials Enter your full Eli Lilly Address and server information as provided in the MobileIron message and select Sign In. It takes you to the MobileIron page for further credential. 6-Jan-15 5

7 2.6 Enter MobileIron credentials PIN from message Enter your Lilly address and MobileIron PIN sent on and select Sign In 2.7 Account Added & click done. You will be navigated to account added screen and click on done. Your account is now added. 3. SET A PASSCODE ON YOUR DEVICE. *IMPORTANT The setup registration process requires a six digit pin on your device. 6-Jan-15 6

8 *NOTE If you already have a passcode on your device that meets the criteria you will not get the prompt to set a passcode as noted below. 3.1 Locate Mobile@work to create new password. Click on Set 3.2 Enter passcode & reconfirm and click on doneon your device. 6-Jan-15 7

9 3.3 Account added & click done 4. NAVIGATE TO LILLY MAIL ACCOUNT PROFILE 4.1 In the setting, select the Lilly Mail Account LLY Z1_BASIC_MAIL on your home screen or scroll down and select this account. (Note: Below Screen will display LLY Z1_BASIC_MAIL) The other possible profiles based on exchange CAS environment are LLY_Z2_BASIC_MAIL and LLY_Z3_BASIC_MAIL. 6-Jan-15 8

10 4.2 Enter your address & Lilly Net password and insert Domain information than select Save. Standard Domain information: Zone 1 (America) Users: Type AM, CSA, NA Zone 2 (Europe, Africa, Middle East) Users: Type EMA Zone 3 (Asia) Users: Type AP Server (All Countries): mi11.lilly.com NOTE: The screenshot above shows AM, but enter your appropriate domain 4.3 Initiate the sync of your mail, calendar, and contacts. Select the Sync button at the bottom if you don t immediately see Syncing at the top and verify mail syncs with Exchange. 6-Jan-15 9

11 5. TIPS, TRIPS & GENERAL INFORMATION Support via Loop Group: The BYOD Windows Phone 8 LOOP Group 5.1 Where is my Calendar? Your Eli Lilly and Company Calendar is synced with the default Calendar application on your WP8 device. a. Select Calendar from your home screen or swipe left and select Calendar. 5.2 Where are my contacts? Your Eli Lilly and Company Contacts are synced with the default People application on your WP8 device. a. Select People from your home screen or swipe left and select People. 5.3 Can I view and edit Lilly attachments on my WP8 Device? Yes, Microsoft Office integrates with your Eli Lilly Account. 5.4 The following Files/Attachments can be opened on your WP8 Device Supported doc types are:.doc (MS Word 97/2000/XP/2003).docx (MS Word 2007/2010).rtf (Rich Text Format).dot/.dotx (MS Word template).xls (MS Excel 97/2000/XP/2003).xlsx (MS Excel 2007/2010).csv (Comma Separated Value).xlt/xltx (MS Excel template).ppt (MS Powerpoint 97/2000/XP/2003).pptx (MS Powerpoint 2007/2010).pot/.potx (MS Powerpoint template).pps/.ppsx (MS Powerpoint slide show).pdf (Portable Document Format, you will need a pdf viewer installed from the Microsoft Store) 6-Jan-15 10

12 5.5 How does the BYOD WP8 POC work? BYOD POC is for Windows Phone 8 smartphones only. Tablets are not supported at this time. Employee owns device; No reimbursement Employee will be able to access Lilly , Contacts, Calendaring Device settings for accessing Lilly data require a 6 digit passcode with a 5 minute inactivity time-out on your device Device wipe to the device will only be initiated when requested by the user in the case of lost or stolen. No Corporate Apps Privacy Respected (no inventory of apps etc ) 5.6 What does MobileIron do on my device? MobileIron is Lilly s Mobile Device Management solution. Lilly will enforce passcode protection and encryption on Lilly information though managed device policies via MobileIron. We quarantine out of compliant devices, removing access to corporate resources. This currently includes: Device does not check in for 21 days If Lilly security policies (or company apps) are removed Additional Security Mechanisms for WP8: Minimum OS approved is Jan-15 11
