This should not impact your setup, since the process is generally the same. 2

3 General Information If you have received a new or replacement phone, please activate it first. If your phone is active and can send and receive calls, then proceed to Installing MobileIron. To avoid syncing conflicts, you must remove any previous WAXIE accounts from your phone MobileIron will notify you if your device is not compliant with the security policies and configurations The guide will configure the following items: Google Gmail Account Sign in MobileIron Mobile@Work Registration 4 digit lock screen passcode Configure access through NitroDesk TouchDown (If applicable) Remove your old WAXIE account (if applicable) Uninstall Restricted Applications (if applicable) Physical Button Layout For more information visit: 3

4 Activating Your Phone 1. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to power on the phone 2. Select English and Start 4

5 3. Your phone should now be activated. Click Start the setup to continue 4. Click Next 5

6 5. Uncheck Restore my contacts and Documents, then press Next 6. Click Done with 6

7 7. Click Next 8. Mark the box to the right of Verizon Location Services 7

8 9. Click Agree to enable Verizon Location Services 10. Mark the box to the right of Standalone GPS Services 8

9 11. Click Agree to enable Standalone GPS services 12. Mark the box to the right of Google Location Services 9

10 13. Select Agree to enable Google Location Services 14. After all Location services have been enabled, press Next 10

11 15. Click Next to continue 16. Click Next to enter your Google Account 11

12 17. Select Yes 18. Enter your Google Address and Password and press Done 12

13 19. Uncheck the box and click OK 20. Select Not now 13

14 21. If prompted to set up your credit card, select Not now 22. Uncheck both boxes and click the arrow in the right corner 14

15 23. Click Done to finish the setup wizard 24. You should now be at your phone s main desktop 15

16 1. Click Play Store Installing and Configuring MobileIron 2. Select the magnifying glass at the top to open the search field 16

17 3. Type mobileiron then click the magnifying glass in the bottom right corner 4. Select by MobileIron 17

18 5. Click Install 6. Click Accept & download to install MobileIron 18

19 7. After the download has finished click Open Enter the 6 digit Registration PIN from the MIS and select Register Note: If you do not have a Registration PIN, please contact help@waxie.com 19

20 10. Click Activate 11. Click Activate again 20

21 You should now have a notification from MobileIron. Swipe your finger down to open the notification drawer 21

22 14. Select the MobileIron Secuirty Alert 15. Select PIN 22

23 16. Enter a 4 digit PIN/Passcode and select Continue WAXIE recommends that you use the last 4 digits of your cell phone number 17. Re enter your PIN and press OK to confirm 23

24 18. Your phone is now configured with MobileIron 24

25 Configuring (If Applicable) To get on your phone, you must contact MIS to have it enabled on your account. 1. Open Apps 2. Find and open MobileIron 25

26 3. Click Google Play Apps 4. Click TouchDown for SmartPhones 26

27 5. Press View 6. Click Install 27

28 7. Click Accept 8. Once you see OPEN, use the back button to go return to the setup 28

29 9. Select Go to Setup 10. Select Begin Setup 29

30 11. Click I Accept 12. Click I Accept again 30

31 13. Enter your WAXIE password and select Next 14. MobileIron and TouchDown are both configured and will begin syncing your information 31

32 1. Open Apps Accessing with TouchDown 2. Find and select TouchDown 32

33 3. You should now have access to your , contacts, calendar, and tasks 33

34 1. Open Apps Removing Previous WAXIE Accounts 2. Find and select Settings 34

35 3. Select Corporate or ActiveSync under Accounts 4. Click the account name 35

36 5. Click the Menu Button and choose Remove account 6. Click Remove account again to delete the account 36

37 1. Open Apps Installing Decartes MobileLink (Drivers) 2. Find and select MobileIron 37

38 3. Click on In house Apps 4. Click on MobileLink 38

39 5. Select Install 6. Select Package Installer then Always 39

40 7. You will get a warning that you need to allow installations from unknown sources. Press Settings 8. Find Unknown Sources and click mark the check box 40

41 9. Click OK 10. It should now have a check mark. To return to the install menu, press the back button 41

42 11. Click Install 12. Click Install 42

43 13. Click Done 14. Contact Gary Evanglista to configure MobileLink 43

44 Uninstall Applications will not function if restricted applications are detected. You must remove these apps to sync with WAXIE. 1. Open Apps 2. Find and select Settings 44

45 3. Find and select Application manager 4. Click the application you want to uninstall. In this case, Dropbox 45

46 5. Select Uninstall 6. Click OK 46

47 7. The application has been uninstalled. Click OK to close this window 47
