Proper installation width ensures the drawer runs on the rails smoothly. Extension Partial extension The drawer can be pulled out partially, i.e., about 75% of the rail length. Complete extension The drawer can be pulled out over the entire length of the rail. Overextension The drawer can be pulled out beyond the length of the rails, i.e., it can be completely removed and become fully accessible. Quick detachment Allows the drawer to be quickly removed from the cabinet or enclosure. Before it can be removed, a detachment lever must be pressed. Retaining/lockin feature Keeps the rails in the closed or extended position until enough force is applied to open or close them. Locking device Keeps the rail in its current position. A lever must be pressed first to move the rails. Locking the rail in the extended position prevents it from being pushed any further and therefore facilitates any maintenance work. Locking the rail in the closed position prevents the drawer from being opened until a lever is pressed. If malfunctions occur, these inactive components can come into contact with the electrical circuit and can be electrified.
