The mobile unit can be locked and docked right where it can be used in one of several primary, traditional roles. In this way, not only can the mobile unit always be secured, but whenever the unit is required for another use, no time is lost searching to locate a given, special purpose mobile device. This versatile solution is designed to help consolidate equipment and save both money and time. The new TCxFlight features a solid base that provides a platform for secure storage, charging, and communications whenever the mobile unit is docked. This base features: Four standard PC USB ports Two 12V USB ports One 24V USB port An Ethernet port for wired network and LAN communications All cable connections are secured behind a unique back panel to prevent accidental or unauthorized disconnections. 2

3 The TCxFlight is easily removed and the mobile unit offers the power of Intel TM processing to allow any and all of your applications to be used anywhere in the store. Hardware requirements The following items are included with the unit: The unit and sleeve will ship assembled to most countries. There are four possible model options to choose from--either the Celeron or i5 Processor. Each unit has two different configurations depending on the geography that it is shipped to. The base unit ships with a charger. Country unique power cords will be added at the Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions distribution point. The dock ships with a 24V brick power supply that powers the dock, attached I/O, and tablet (when attached). Software requirements Windows 8.1 Professional 8

Security, auditability, and control The customer is responsible for evaluation, selection, and implementation of security features, administrative procedures, and appropriate controls in application systems and communications facilities. Warranty service Advance Exchange Models 21A and 25A have a one-year Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions Advance Exchange warranty. The Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions Advance Exchange process offers fast, convenient service, as well as improved reliability of your Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions tablet. When you have any hardware issue with your eligible machine, Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions telephone support will be available to help you diagnose and resolve the problem. If your hardware issue cannot be resolved over the phone, Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions will ship you a replacement unit for delivery next business day delivery for orders received prior to local country cutoff time 1, or second business day for calls received after local country cutoff time. Deliveries are made business days Monday through Friday 1. Each shipment includes replacement instructions and a prepaid return label for easy return of the defective unit. This allows you to exchange units based on your schedule, removing the need to schedule an appointment with a Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions technician. Then, simply place the defective eligible machine in the packaging provided, affix the prepaid return label and send it back to Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions. If the defective eligible machine is not received at the Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions depot center in 30 calendar days, Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions will bill the credit card provided, or invoice your on file PO, with the then current price of the eligible machine. Prior to shipment, your replacement unit will have completed a rigorous 'healthcheck' on all critical components, helping to improve the performance and reliability of your unit. Our Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions factory technicians ensure that the unit you receive will provide the dependability and life span that you counted on when choosing to buy Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions. 1 Business days, order cutoff times and delivery times will vary by country. 9

10 Depot Service Models 21D and 25D At Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions's discretion, customers will disconnect the failing eligible machine for collection arranged by Toshiba. Toshiba will provide you with a shipping container and prepaid return label for you to return your eligible machine to a designated service center or country-defined Pick Up Drop Off location. Following its repair or exchange, Toshiba will arrange the return delivery of the eligible machine to your location. You are responsible for its installation and verification. Upon receipt at the Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions depot repair center, your malfunctioning eligible machine is repaired within five business days and shipped for delivery to your specified location the next business day. The five business day measurement begins when failing eligible machine is received at the depot location. Non-Toshiba parts service Warranty service Toshiba is now shipping machines with selected non-toshiba parts that contain a Toshiba field-replaceable unit (FRU) part number label. These parts are to be serviced during the Toshiba machine warranty period. Toshiba is covering the service on these selected non-toshiba parts as an accommodation to their customers, and normal warranty service procedures for the Toshiba machine apply.
