14 Professional Agreement Considerations Respondents selected to provide on-call services should be prepared to accept the terms and conditions as set forth in the General Consultant Services Agreement. Professional Liability Insurance requirements may be waived or modified at Denver Water s discretion

15 Security Screening Requirements Increased security on release of contract documents and site access. All security screening options listed in the contract. Each Task Order will identify which security screening option applies, if any. If required, screening includes: CBI Criminal History Check and / or Drug and Alcohol Screening The Construction Project Managers may perform initial screening on-site

16 Use of Standards Consultants are responsible for following Denver Water standards as identified in the Contract/Task Orders: CAD Standards Capital Project Construction Standards (CPCS) Current version January 2017 Capital Project Procedures Manual (online)

17 Project Management Certification Denver Water is emphasizing PM training and certification 5 Bonus Points will be awarded for PMI-Certified leads for a technical discipline PMP Certification for Project Manager may be required for Task Order award, depending on nature of the Task Order.

18 Selection Criteria Criteria Firm s experience record on similar projects, including past performance with Denver Water; the firm s ability to develop meaningful cost-loaded schedules and adhere to schedules and budgets. Qualifications and relevant project experience of key personnel in the technical discipline. Max. Points (105 points) Capability of local staff to complete assignments 15 Proposal organization per RFP, clarity, conciseness and thoroughness 15 *Certified Professional Project Manager status for project personnel 5* * This is a potential bonus 5 points to be added in technical disciplines where appropriate Total 100

20 RFP Questions Received (continued) Q: Our firm is looking into attaining PMP certification, but would not be able to have it completed by the due date of the proposal. Please indicate whether or not this certification is a necessity in order to propose for this RFP. A: Firms are not required to possess the PMP at the time of submission in order to submit on this RFP. The firm s Project Manager(s) need to obtain the certification prior to executing a task order with Denver Water. Note: PMP certification is for individuals, not firms. Also, DW notified firms of this requirement 5 years ago.

21 RFP Questions Received (continued) Q: In the Request for Proposal for General Consultant Services Section 2.14 Project Management Certification, it states that PMP certification is required of project managers and discipline leads for all technical design and construction management task orders. Does this requirement also extend to potential task orders in the Planning Consulting Services Discipline Areas or General Engineering Services Discipline Areas such Aerial Mapping, Business Consulting, Hazmat, Surveying or other projects involving assessments, investigations, or studies not design or construction in nature? A: No, it is only applicable for Technical Design/Construction Management Task Orders, or any Task Order Denver Water deems the requirement of professional project management.

A: No, price proposals should be completed in the Excel file provided with the RFP posting and submitted on paper in a separate envelop marked Price Proposal Confidential. Q: Who are the incumbents for the on-call? A: The list of firms awarded GES Agreements in 2015 will be published to the DenverWater.org website under this posting for this RFP.

23 RFP Questions Received (continued) Q: Will Denver Water Consider firms less than 5 years old or will points be deducted? A: Yes, firms of any years in business will be considered, based on the project experience of their staff. Q: Will Denver Water consider resumes of engineers prior to the company being founded if company is less than 5 years old? A: Yes. Please detail the experience of the firm s staff in your proposal. Denver Water is looking for people with the desired project experience employed by the firm, but not in teaming arrangements with another firm.

24 RFP Questions Received (continued) Q: Will firms lose points for not having past performance with Denver Water? A: No. This RFP is an opportunity for Denver Water to gain experience working with new firms. Q: Are there MBE/WBE goals for this solicitation? A: Not for this solicitation.
