Areas of expertise include utility systems, residential construction, commercial construction, environmental engineering, and business analyst and asset management. He started his career as a design engineer where he performed complex analyses for civil engineering applications. His engineering responsibilities progressively increased such that he served as engineering project manager GIS Business Process Improvement Project and Program Manager for Charlotte Water Capital Improvement Program. 4

5 EXPERIENCE: Since then, Mr. Pearson has conducted forensic analyses for civil, structural field investigations including, but not limited to residential, commercial and industrial applications to determine cause of loss in steel, wood, concrete, and masonry structures; construction defects; water intrusion; building code compliance geotechnical and foundation failures; HVAC system failures and wet fire suppression system failures.
