5 Capturing Footage - IOS 1. Select the Camera app from the main screen 2. The camera may automatically be set to photo. The yellow text above the Shutter Button indicates which mode is active.

6 Capturing Footage - IOS 3. To switch to video mode simply drag the screen to the right until video is displayed in yellow text above the shutter button. The shutter button will always turn red to indicate that it is ready to record.

7 Capturing Footage - IOS 4. To start recording simply tap the red shutter button. You will know that the video is recording because a) A timer will display at the top of the screen and b) The shutter button will turn into a red Stop button. a b

8 Capturing Footage - IOS 5. When you are finished tap the Stop button. You will notice that your video will save on the bottomleft of the screen. The shutter button will turn circular again and the timer will stop. Your video

9 Reviewing Footage - IOS 1. Your video will be available in the Photos app on your IOS device. 2. Select your video from the menu and press Play.

10 Reviewing Footage - IOS 3. To edit the length of your video select Edit from the top-right corner. 4. Hold down the timeline at the bottom of the screen until the yellow border displays. Drag the arrows at either end to cut the start or end of the video.

11 Storing your video online (Cloud Storage) You have now recorded your video and you would like to add it to your WordPress Blog. Before taking that step however, we are going to show you how to save your video in the cloud using your mobile device. This provides an extra element of security around saving a copy of your video, should anything happen to your phone. In this tutorial we are going to provide you with two options for saving your video: Option 1: Adding your video to YouTube will create a link which you can switch to public or private. Option 2: Using Google Drive keeps the link secure within your private online folders. You can selectively share this link with friends/colleagues in your network at any time.

Option 1. Uploading to YouTube When you first access the YouTube app on your IOS device, you are asked to insert your email address. Your YouTube account will be linked to this email address.

To check which account you are using: Tap the head and shoulders icon on the top-right of the screen. To switch to another account use the dropdown arrow next to your address. You can either choose from a list of addresses which you already have enabled or Add Account to select a new one.

14 Uploading to YouTube Return to the app to continue. You may be asked to create a channel: Give this channel a name and then select Create Channel.

15 Uploading to YouTube The channel you just created is now showing on your profile. This time, when you select the camera icon you may be asked to enable access to Camera and Photos on your iphone. Tap the buttons to allow this access.

16 Uploading to YouTube Now that you have created a channel and enabled permissions. You can upload your video with a few simple taps.

17 Uploading to YouTube Finally, choose Upload. Give your video a title: Tap Privacy to choose whether your video is Public or Private.

18 Uploading to YouTube When your video has uploaded, click the three vertical dots and select Edit to give it a link title.

19 From YouTube to WordPress First you will need to copy the link for your YouTube video. Tap each of the following: A pop-up at the bottom of the screen let s you know that the link is now copied to the clipboard.

21 From YouTube to WordPress Press down on the area in your blog where you would like the video to sit. This will bring up a tabbed menu. From this menu select Paste. c The link is now pasted from the ClipBoard into your blog. Select Update to save and preview this change.

22 From YouTube to WordPress It may take a few minutes for your post to show in the Published section of your website. It will however, be available under Drafts. Select Preview to see what your video looks like when sitting in the blogpost.

23 Option 2. Uploading to Google Drive The quickest way to upload a video file to Google Drive (Cloud Storage which must be linked to a Gmail account) is to download the app on your smartphone. Once downloaded you will need to sign in with your Gmail address and password.

Step 1: You can use the plus button on the bottom-right of the screen to add your video. *If Google Drive does not open with My Drive - use the menu icon on the top-left of the screen to navigate back to this area.

26 Uploading to Google Drive Step 4: Tap the video you would like to upload. Step 6: A blue tick will indicate that your video is selected. The option to Upload will only appear on the top-right of the screen once you have selected an item. Tap Upload to add the item to Drive.

27 Uploading to Google Drive Your video will begin to upload as a.mov file. The progress bar indicates whether it is fully downloaded. Your video will look like this when fully downloaded.
