1 GUIDE TO REGISTER ONLINE FOR THE ADMISSION COMPETITION FOR RESEARCH DOCTORATES (PhD), XXXIV CYCLE A.A. 2018/2019, UNIBS In order to make an online admission application, the candidate must register his/her personal details on the university portal: and click on "Candidates Online Registration" Follow ANNEX B to the Call OPERATIVE INSTRUCTIONS TO REGISTER If the first page that appears to you is in Italian press the British FLAG on the top-right of the screen of your computer and you will turn to the English version Once you have obtained a username and password Click on Registrar s Office

2 Then Click Admission test

3 CHOOSE the button POST-REFORM PHD COURSES AND PRESS FORWARD Choose a PhD Course of your choice then press forward

4 Confirm your choice and go ahead Once your personal data have been included and / or the system has already caught your data from the system because you registered to our UNIBS previously, cross-check the info present and if correct press forward, otherwise press back and correct the data

6 If you have already inserted an identity document, the page shows you all data. In this case click Forward. Otherwise click back and upload a new identity document, then continue on the following page. ATTENTION! IF YOU UPLOAD A DOCUMENT CONSIDERED TO BE COMPULSORY YOU CANNOT DELETE IT AFTERWORDS. HENCE PAY ATTENTION TO UPLOAD ALL CORRECT DOCUMENTS REQUIRED (E.G. if the system asks you to upload 1 copy of the ID card / passport in pdf you cannot upload n. 2 pages as separate documents, because the system will block you)

7 Then upload a photo according to the format requested in the Call / Annex B and press forward Example

8 If you have disabilities and you need supporting facilities during the exams click YES; otherwise click NO. Once completed the page go forward Confrm your pre-registration by clicking Confirm and go ahead

9 Confrm your choice on the supporting facilities for the disabilities and press forward Upload your documents and academic qualifications

10 If you uploaded the correct academic qualification required by the Call and the PhD sheets as per Annex A then the button down the final page appears GREEN, then press Continue

11 Example of a correct academic qualification uploaded Once you complete the uploading of all requested qualifications and documents the screen appears as follows. If you don t want to upload further documents then press NO ; otherwise press YES and continue uploading. Once you complete the process click Forward Pay Attention!: if the scheme requires you to upload minimum n. 1 document and maximum n. 1 document for each category do not exceed the quantity required (e.g.: don t split a pdf document in two scanned documents as the system reads them as being two separate documents, etc. and it blocks you)

12 If all of your data / documents are correct and you wish to confirm the declaration on your qualifications press forward If you need to include a letter of recommendation, select Add a recommendation request and press forward. The system will send an automatic message to the referee you have provided ( address, surname, name, etc.) who is the person to upload the

13 If you have uploaded correctly the details of the referee (name / surname / , Institution, etc.) the screen appears as follows. Then press forward Confirm the choice of the registration by clicking Complete the entrance application to the competitive examination

14 Cross-check the summary of information included and documents uploaded and if it is all complete and correct select PRINT ADMISSION APPLICATION FORM The system has created the.pdf format of your application. We suggest you to save and print the form for further proof.
