1 APPLICATION FOR LAUREA PROGRAMMES: HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE ENTRANCE TEST Welcome to these guidelines. In order to ease your application as much as possible, we have summarized in a few pages all the main steps you should complete. First of all, please note that there are TWO INITIAL STEPS to be completed: Registration online: creates your personal profile on our website Application online: allow you to register for the entrance test Start by REGISTERING ON POLITECNICO DI MILANO WEBSITE TO GET YOUR CREDENTIALS. You will receive your credentials (Person Code and Password) by . 1

3 The registration form will appear like this. Note that you may modify your registration information only within 10 days. 3

4 NOW START THE APPLICATION Use your credentials to ENTER THE ONLINE SERVICES Click on Laurea (equivalent to a Bachelor of Science) and five-year single-cycle programmes: entrance or discharge tests and enrolment 3

5 Select the link Test Registration 4

6 If you have studied abroad, check the flag non-italian secondary school diploma 5

7 Select the state and the city of your secondary school and find your school. 6

8 Check the flag if graduated only if you have already obtained a diploma, otherwise click on Confirm and continue. Check the flag if you agree and confirm 7

9 Select the education system of your secondary school. If you haven t studied at an American or British high school select Others 8

10 If you haven t specified your address of residence you need to add it now by clicking on Insert your address and then Manage. 9

11 After entering the data, click on 10

12 If you are currently living in Italy, you need to update your Contact address by clicking on Manage 11

13 After saving click on to continue with the registration If you have indicated a residence or contact address in Italy, you have to enter the data of your Residence Permit by clicking on Enter the missing data 12

14 If you are currently living in Italy, you need to enter the data of your residence permit and upload a copy of it Enter the data of the Residence Permit by clicking on 13

15 Enter the data of the Residence Permit After entering the data, click on back 14

16 Please read carefully and choose your correct status: on the basis of your choice, you will be directed to the correct registration form. If you are enrolled in a Bachelor or Master of Science programme at an Italian university, or you hold a certificate of Italian language of C1 level or higher, you will be redirected to the registration to the entrance test for EU citizens, non EU regularly residing in Italy and Italian citizens. Otherwise, you will continue with the registration of the INTEREST FORM and the registration to the entrance test will be confirmed by our office. 15

17 If you selected I currently live in Italy you have to specify the reason why: based upon your choice, you will be addressed to the registration to the entrance test for EU citizens, non EU regularly residing in Italy and Italian citizens. Otherwise, you will continue with the registration of the INTEREST FORM and the registration to the entrance test will be confirmed by our office. Remember, if you have a valid residence permit because you are a student in a language Course, you lost your student status; it is compulsory to apply for a new visa at the Italian Embassy. If instead you are enrolled in a Bachelor or Master of Science programme at an Italian university, you can use the same residence permit and transfer your enrolment based upon the transfer rules decided for the AY 2018/

21 You have successfully completed the Interest Form and you will receive an with all the information soon. IMPORTANT: if you are a non-ue student, the registration to the entrance test will be confirmed by the International Student Office, and you don t have to pay the fee to register to the test
