This enables the offices to make several login procedures available to internal and/or external users for their specialist applications. egov is the abbreviation for egovernment. egovernment means the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in public administrations in conjunction with organisational changes and new skills to improve public services and democratic processes and to facilitate the design and implementation of state policies. The CH login (egov Login Private) is a login procedure provided by the standard eiam service of the Federal Administration. The CH login account can be used for the various applications of the Federal Administration. The Suisse ID login enables the owner of a Suisse ID (hard crypto token on USB stick or chip card) in conjunction with the corresponding password to log in to web applications of the Federal Administration from the Internet anywhere. The SuisseID is a service provided by Swiss Post and must be obtained from Swiss Post. 3 1 Purpose The following document describes the registration process for a Swiss login account of the Federal Administration for use in the egov context. It should help the user to create his CH login account so that he can use it for the login to applications in the egov area. It shows him what can happen and what options he has. 2 Simple registration For simple registration, only the username and password are required from the application for which you wish to register. 2.1 Selection of login procedures It is possible that the selected application offers several login procedures for different user groups. Then a login selection appears before the actual registration process, which looks as follows: Select the CH login here. 2.2 Option Suisse ID If you own a Suisse ID, you can log in directly with the Suisse ID. To do this, the user is forwarded to the login dialog of Swiss Post as a Suisse ID provider Please note that not all applications in the egov area support the use of the Suisse ID and therefore a login with a CH login account may still be necessary at a later date. 4 2.3 Start Screen The actual login starts on the start screen. This appears either directly or after selecting the CH login as login procedure. Enter your address and password here on the left and click on "Continue". Important: A new registration is only necessary if you do not yet have a CH login account. Your CH login account is application-independent and can be reused for logging into various federal administration applications. 2.4 Acquisition of registration data Please fill in all fields, follow the password rules and do not forget to accept the terms of use. In rare cases it can happen that a captcha dialog is displayed, which you have to work through. 2.6 Sending mail with code A code will be sent to your address Please note: For security reasons, we have deliberately dispensed with reset links, as e- mails can be intercepted and a link can thus be misused. 2.7 Recording code The registration code must be entered in the next step. 2.8 Conclusion of simple registration Once the code has been checked successfully, registration is complete. 6 Click on "Continue" to go to the access request form. 3 Advanced Registration Wenn die Applikation zur Anmeldung aus datenschutzrechtlichen Gründen einen zweiten Authentisierungs-Faktor verlangt, kommt es während der Registrierung direkt zur erweiterten Registrierung. 3.1 Security Questions The security questions must be entered as part of the extended registration so that a recovery option for your second factor is available to you at a later date. This ensures that you can change your second factor at any time. Please select the security questions and answer them. Then click on "Next". 3.2 Register telephone number Enter your telephone number with the country code. You can also use a landline number. Please note that in the case of a landline number, the SMS is converted into a voic when it is sent by the telephone provider. You must retrieve this voic . The code is read to them. Therefore you will receive an additional confirmation code by SMS for the login. With "Continue" you can now access the access request even after the extended registration. Please refer to chapter Fehler! Verweisquelle konnte nicht gefunden werden.. 4 Required access request Please note: The account registration is complete, but this does not automatically give you access to the application you have chosen. An access request is required for this. There are currently 3 types of access request: 1. automated without interaction. This takes you directly to the selected application. You can perform your work in the application based on the automatically assigned roles. 2. automated with interaction. This will take you back to the application via a new login. Here, too, you can start your work as described under "1". 3. with classic access request. A manual role assignment is necessary here.
