2 Accessing the Online Application Visit: How to Apply Step 1: Click Apply for a Course.

3 Step 2: In Year of Study it should say 2017/18. In the Keywords field, type subject and then click Search.

4 Step 3: Select one of the following results, depending on your subject knowledge subject.

5 Step 4: Select the link on the left, as indicated by the arrow below.

6 Step 5: Select Apply.

7 Step 6: Check you have selected the correct option and then click Proceed.

8 Step 7: If you are a new user, select New User? Create an account here. If you already have an account, enter your login details.

9 Creating an Account Complete the fields, making sure you use your personal (ideally not a school/work/college ) and click Create Account.

10 Completing your Application Personal Details Complete the fields on this page as accurately as possible and click Next & Save.

11 Student Status Your fee status will be collected later; this information will not affect your application. However, we do need this information for reporting purposes. Select either Home, EU, Channel I/IOM, Overseas or Not known on this page and click Next & Save.

12 Address Details Please enter your address and contact details on this page and click Next & Save.

13 Previous Education On this page, please add the most recent University or College you attended. There are instructions on this page, which tell you how to add institutions. When finished, click Next & Save.

14 UK Postgraduate Qualifications Enter in your degree and/or any postgraduate qualifications you hold on this page. To do this, use the fields on this page to enter your qualifications details and click Add Qualification to submit the qualification details. Repeat this until you have entered all your degree and any postgraduate qualifications you hold. When finished, click Next & Save.

15 Other Qualifications Please use this page to enter your GCSE (or equivalent) grades for English, Maths and Science. To do this, use the fields under GCSE or Equivalent Qualification and Dates Studied on this page to enter your qualifications details and click Add Qualification to submit the qualification details. Repeat this until you have entered the GCSE (or equivalent) grades for English, Maths and Science. When finished, click Next & Save.

16 EU and Overseas Student Additional Details You only need to complete this page if you are an EU or Overseas student. If you are a UK resident, you can leave this page blank and click Next & Save to continue.

Once completed, please save these documents as pdf format (using File>Save as Adobe PDF function). DOCUMENT 1: Bursary Eligibility form. 18 Supporting Information Here we need you to upload: DOCUMENT 1: Evidence of your ID. This either can be a photograph or scanned copy of the following: Your current (in date) Passport or British Birth Certificate AND photo ID such as a Driving Licence, this must be presented with a marriage certificate or deed poll, where there has been a change of name; An EU Identity card is also acceptable. DOCUMENT 2: Evidence of conditional ITT (Initial Teacher Training) offer with SKE listed as a condition of your offer. Your offer must show all your conditions, including the SKE course length. This can take the form of a screenshot of your offer from UCAS or letter/ from your ITT provider. DOCUMENT 3: Completed BACs Form, downloaded from the previous page. This document can also be found at: DOCUMENT 4: Completed Bursary Eligibility form, downloaded from the previous page. This document can also be found at: DOCUMENT 5: Evidence of your completed undergraduate degree and degree classification. This can take the form of an official transcript or degree certificate. Minimum classification of Second Class, Lower Division (2:2) is required as part of the eligibility requirements for the SKE bursary. Please ensure that your documents are in PDF format and legible. 21 Terms and Conditions Once you have ready the terms and conditions on this page, tick the box to confirm you have completed the application as accurately as possible.
