1 NUS Biodiversity Application Instructions 1) Follow all the instructions listed on this sample application. Otherwise, your application will appear in the incorrect format. 2) Do not submit more than one online application. You cannot revise your application once it has been submitted online. 3) After you submit the application online to NUS, the application printout to UCEAP along with your other application materials. 4) Keep a copy for your own records. As soon as your application is complete with all required documents, it will be forwarded to NUS for consideration. Follow the deadlines listed on the PDC. 6 NUS Biodiversity Summer students will enroll in two courses. Field Studies in Biodiversity is the core course that all students must take. Students must also take a language course, either Bahasa Indonesian or Chinese. 2015/2016 Special Term Part 2 (Jun-Jul) 1. Select Science, then select Field Studies in Biodiversity. Check the Compulsory box. 2. Select Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, then select your first choice for the language course. Check the Compusory box. 3. Select Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, then select your second choice for the language course. Make sure that you have selected three courses. The first course listed should be Field Studies in Biodiversity. The two language courses (Bahasa Indonesia and Chinese) should be listed next in order of preference. Check the compulsory box located beside the first two courses you selected.

10 Carefully review your application to make sure that all of the information is correct. If you need to make any modifications, click on the back button in the window toolbar to move to the desired page. After any necessary changes have been made, click on Save and Continue to proceed to the confirmation page and verify that all changes are reflected.

11 Make sure that you have selected three courses. The first course listed should be Field Studies in Biodiversity. The two language courses (Bahasa Indonesia and Chinese) should be listed next in order of preference. The first two courses you selected should show up here as Compulsory Module. You must also submit the application electronically to NUS by clicking the Submit Application button. Once you submit your application, you will not be able to go back and make any changes. You will be assigned an application ID number by NUS. Be sure to keep this number and your application password for future reference. Print the application and it to UCEAP along with your other application materials.
