Sales representatives will be canvassing the GBT area selling and renewing advertising. Q & A on GBT's New Spam Filtering Service "Greymail" You may have noticed that recently GBT converted to a new email system which includes new and improved spam monitoring.

4 Q & A on GBT's New Spam Filtering Service "Greymail" You may have noticed that recently GBT converted to a new system which includes new and improved spam monitoring. Due to increased security precautions for our customers, this change was necessary. GBT understands that change is hard; below you will find questions and answers to some of the frequently asked questions regarding the system. Due to the increased security settings on this filtering system, anyone attempting to send credit card information or social security number information via , will be blocked by the server. If this is something your business does, GBT encourages you to speak to our Business Technology Solutions staff regarding available options for Business grade systems. How will I know what spam (junk mail) is collecting for my account? You will receive a Daily Digest once a day with a link to access your spam. (See an example of the below) How do I gain access to the settings of my spam? There are two ways to access spam: 1. Go to https//:greymail.redcondor.net/console 2. From the Daily Digest , click My Account (see the diagram) How long does my spam remain at this site? Everything older than 35 days is automatically deleted. How can I change how often I get the Daily Digest ? Once you are logged into the spam mail system, simply click the Settings tab (see diagram). You have three choices: Never, Daily or Weekly. Simply choose the preferred option. What if mail is quarantined, at this site, but is not spam? You may release the mail in two ways: 1. Highlight the message and simply click the View button. Once you have clicked View, you will see options displayed at the bottom. 2. Click the Messages tab, highlight the message you want, then click Release and it will be forwarded to your inbox. How can I block certain s from coming to my inbox? From the Daily Digest , click My Account, then click on the Policies tab, scroll down to where it says Enemies, type the address in the field and then click the plus (+) sign. To remove the address, click on the address and then hit the red x. How can I make sure I always receive s from a specific sender? From the Daily Digest , click on My Account, click on the Policies tab, scroll down to where it says Friends, type the address in the field and then click the plus (+) sign. To remove the address, click on the address and then hit the red x. How often can I check this account? You can log in as often or whenever you want. Simply click on the link within the Daily Digest and it will bring you to your spam. Count this one too! Black Star Hunting It s time to count... throughout this issue of the Connection there are many Black Stars. Can you count them? When you find them all, us by the 10 th of the month at marketing@ gbtlive.com with the total number of Black Stars, and you will be entered into a drawing to win a $10 bill credit on your next GBT bill! 5 GBT's New Faces! McCRACKEN Derek Rowh has joined the GBT team as our newest Combination Technician and will be based out of our St. John office. Derek grew up and graduated from Norton; he then attended NCKTC in Beloit where he graduated with a Bachelor s Degree in Applied Science. Derek enjoys golfing and playing video games in his spare time. Summer is now in full swing which brings several new and returning faces to GBT in the form of summer help. We are excited to have Alyssa Wierman working alongside our Customer Experience Representatives out of our Rush Center office. This is her second summer working at GBT; Alyssa will be a Junior at Bethany College in the fall, majoring in Music Education. Kade will be a Sophomore at NCKTC in the fall studying Telecommunications. Kolin Klozenbucher will be assisting our technicians in the field. Lean Hamburger 1 Can Mushroom pieces & stems Diced Onion 1 tsp. Salt ¼ tsp. Pepper 8 Slices Bacon (Cooked & Crumbled) Directions In a large bowl, combine ground beef, mushrooms, onion, seasonings and bacon; blend well. Shape mixture into 8 patties. Chill 1 hour. Grill over medium hot coals until desired doneness, brushing often with Butter Sauce. Serve on hamburger rolls. Butter Sauce for Bacon Mushroom Burgers: ½ C. Butter ½ C. Chopped Onion ½ C. Catsup ¼ C. Brown Sugar 1 ½ tsp. Chili Powder 1 tsp. Salt ¼ tsp. Pepper 3 T. Worcestershire Sauce Dash Hot Pepper Sauce Directions In a small saucepan, melt butter. Sauté Onion until tender. Stir in Catsup, brown sugar, chili powder, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce. Simmer 5 minutes, stirring often. Brush over hamburgers often.
