2 Rentals.com. Frequently Asked Questions How do I change my password? 1. Click on the Manage My Ads link located in the top right corner of the Rentals.com homepage. 2. Log into Manage My Ads with your username/ address and current password. 3. Click on the My Account link in the top right corner of the page. 4. Click on the Change Password link located at the bottom of the page under Other Actions. 5. Type the new password of your choice in the two spaces provided and then click on the Change Password button to save your new password. How do I retrieve a forgotten password? 1. Click on the Manage My Ads link in the top right corner of the Rentals.com homepage. 2. Click I forgot my password. 3. Enter your log- in e- mail address you used when you registered. 4. Click Submit. (Check your junk /spam folder if you do not see the temporary password sent to your inbox) 2

3 Rentals.com. Frequently Asked Questions What is the RentPath Network of Sites? A feature we offer to give your property maximum exposure by sending your listing to other websites in the RentPath Network. These include Rent.com and LiveLovely.com. Why is my ad not on all the Network of Sites? You must search for your listing on each site in the network to confirm your listing is available. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that your listing will appear on all of the sites at the same time as some of the sites are area specific and update at various times. 3

4 How do I track my results? 1. Click on the Manage My Ads link in the top right corner of the Rentals.com homepage. 2. Log into Manage My Ads with your username/ address and current password. 3. Click on the Track My Results button located on the left hand side. 4. Select a report type on the left hand side under Report Dashboard. 5. To customize your report you will need to select report parameters located at the top of the page. (start date, end date, metro name, account name and user name). 6. Click GO. To return to Manage My Ads, click on Update Internet Ad. Can I exchange my listing for another? One listing cannot be removed and replaced with another listing. 4

5 How long will my listing be shown on Rentals.com? All listings will remain on the site for 30 days from date purchased. You may deactivate or renew your listing at any time. After 30 days, your listing will expire and be removed from the site. Your listing will not be automatically renewed or charged again. How can I find the current rates to list my property? 1. Go to our home page 2. Click List Your Property. 3. Fill out your contact information and click on the Choose a Package button. Current listing rates and features will be shown on the Choose a Package page. Do you have more properties that you would like to advertise? Please contact our Rentals.com team at (866)

6 Rentals.com Frequently Asked Question I am experiencing technical difficulties, what should I do? Please call or submit an to customer service at info@rentals.com explaining the issue. Be sure to include a contact phone number so that we can better assist you. Why does my listing display with a different telephone number? The phone number posted on your listing is an auto- generated number that enables tracking for reporting purposes. It is used for 2 reasons: To track your phone leads. To conceal your property s phone number for privacy. All calls will forward from the tracking number to the contact telephone number you provided on the listing. By using a tracking number, we can collect data on calls received via your listing. This data is then made available to you through your my.rentals.com account. 6

7 Rentals.com. Frequently Asked Questions How do I find properties on Rentals.com? 1. Go to our home page and in the search field enter a city and state or a zip code to search. 2. You can refine your search on the left hand side of the listing search page by narrowing it down by price range, number of bedrooms, and baths. How do I edit my listing? 1. Click on the Manage My Ads link in the top right corner of Rentals.com homepage. 2. Log into Manage My Ads with your username/ address and current password. 3. Click on the Edit link of the listing you would like to edit. You will then have the ability to edit listing details. When you have completed editing the listing, click on the Save button. From the Edit screen, you can also view the listing as it appears on the Rentals.com site. Note: you will not be able to edit the listing address. 7

8 Rentals.com. Frequently Asked Questions How to Manage and Upload photos on my listing? 1. Click on the Manage My Ads link located in the top right corner of the Rentals.com homepage. 2. Log into Manage My Ads with your username/ address and current password. 3. Click on the Ad number or photo of the listing you would like to update. 4. Click the Manage Photos link. 5. Click the Browse button. 6. A pop up box will appear for File Upload. You will then need to select the file name for the photo you would like to upload and click Open. 7. Confirm that the Select a Photo input is populated with the correct photo file name. 8. Click Upload Photos to transfer photo from your computer to the site. 9. The photo will now display in the desired position. 8
