3 WiBa QuickLook Page 3 2 Introduction The WiBa QuickLook App connects to Wittmann R8 robots and Wittmann Battenfeld Unilog B6 injection molding machines. You can use the app to quickly and easily look into the most important operating data and states of your devices. The App is available for mobile devices running Android and ios operating systems. 3 Prerequisites You will need the following: Wittmann R8 robots and Wittmann Battenfeld Unilog B6 injection molding machines reachable for the App via LAN/WLAN of the injection molding factory. Wittmann R8 robots with software version or later. Wittmann Battenfeld Unilog B6 injection molding machines with software version V07.2 or later. The WiBa QuickLook App installed on your mobile device(s). Optional: Robots need access to an SMTP server, and your mobile device(s) need an account with push capability, if you want to use the automated notification function of R8 robots. If your equipment is already on the network than the rest of the set-up to use QuickLook is very straight forward. You will need to: Collect a list of equipment s IP Address, your IT department may already have that list. If not already done you will want to Name the Equipment on the Robot or IMM control. And optionally select some Robot Counter values you might want to monitor from the Robot.

Additionally, robots need access to an SMTP server, and your mobile devices need accounts with push capability, if you want to use the automated notification function of R8 robots. Ask your IT department / network administrator for details on your actual network layout.

5 WiBa QuickLook Page 5 5 Robot Settings 5.1 Network Settings (mandatory) If your Wittmann R8 Robot is already on the network, you can find its IP Address in the View menu Operating System. For Network Settings of the robot(s) you have to login as Admin at the robot and then use the Menu Init Setup Network Settings. Fig.: Robot Network Settings For basic access on a simple network layout you will need to set IP Address of the robot and Subnet Mask. On more complex network layouts you will also need to set the Default Gateway address, if robot and phones and server are connected to different subnets. If the robot shall be able to send notifications, you will also need to set the address of the SMTP Mail Server (optional). It is the task of your IT department / network administrator to assign IP addresses and to give access to servers.

6 WiBa QuickLook Page Work Cell Name (recommended) You can Input the Work Cell Name that will be displayed for the robot in the WiBa QuickLook App using the menu Init - Setup - Robot Settings settings (optional) If you want the robot to send s after stopping with an Alarm Message, you will need to do the Settings. 7 WiBa QuickLook Page Counter Values of the Teach Program (optional) You can display Counters from your Teach Programs in WiBa QuickLook. They will be displayed as Program Values. Use the Setup menu Counter Definition to decide which Counters shall be displayed in WiBa QuickLook: Highlight the desired counter and press the button counter shall be shown in WiBa QuickLook or not. to decide whether the Use the Setup menu Counter Names to rename counters as needed. 6 Injection Molding Machine Settings 6.1 Network Settings If the IMM is already on your network you will only need to get the machines IP Address. This can be seen from the Battenfeld B6 controls Intra / Internet Page on the Diagnoses tab, the correct IP is IP Address 2. If the IMM is not set-up for a network please see section 29.2 Changes to Network Connections of the IMM User Manual for instructions to change the network settings. 6.2 Machine Designation Go to the Info tab of the General screen and enter into the Machine Designation field. This entry will show on the Start Page of the IMM and will also be used to refer to this machine in the QuickLook App.

8 WiBa QuickLook Page 8 7 Phone Settings 7.1 Installing the WiBa QuickLook App The WiBa QuickLook App is available through Apple App Store for ios and through Google Play Store for Android. 7.2 WIFI Access You need to establish WIFI access to the factory network. Contact your network administrator for login details. Refer to the user manual of your phone about how to do the settings. 8 App Settings This section uses ios screenshots. Some elements may look slightly different on the Android version. 8.1 Add Groups If you want to use groups for your machinery, press device list. to add a group to your Input the name for your new group and press. If you want to access devices in your group, or add devices to it, open the group by touching it on the device list.

9 WiBa QuickLook Page Add Devices In order to add devices (robots, injection molding machines) to either the device list or one of your groups press while being inside the desired list or group. Input the IP address of your device and press.

10 WiBa QuickLook Page Sort List Entries List View In list view you can sort the entries of the main device list and the various group lists as you want. Press. Grab one of the entries at its icon and move it to its desired place in the list. When finished, press.

11 WiBa QuickLook Page Grid View Grid view sorts the entries automatically by their status color. Groups show the color of their worst member. Red: Blue: Stopped, safety lost (emergency stop, doors, ) Stopped, not in automatic mode Green: OK, runs in automatic mode Grey: Unknown, no connection (after 60 seconds communications timeout)

12 WiBa QuickLook Page Share Settings Once you have setup all devices and groups in QuickLook, there is no need for all other users to do the same settings over and over again. You can simply share yours. In the main Device List press. Send this with the attached.json file to everybody you want to share your settings with. As a recipient of such an you press and hold the.json file until you see the Open in dialogue. Select Open in Quicklook in order to automatically launch Quicklook and take over the settings. Confirm, when asked to.
