1 We would like to assist you with setting up your website and ! First, you will set up your website at NotarySociety.com Your website will be made up of one of four domain names: Notarysociety.com Pen2papernotary.com Qualifiednotary.com Redcarpetnotary.com followed by the username you select for your website. So your website address that you will publish in your advertising or on your business cards will look like one of the following: The user username you create here will also be your username for your . Your website and will be named according to the website you choose. For example, if you choose your will be Begin by registering your information including whatever address that you are currently using. Choose the user name and password you want to be associated with your new website. This password will also be the password for your account.
2 Click on Click Next and select the template style you would like to use.
3 Begin filling in the information requested. This address will be listed on your contact page but you will have an opportunity to modify it later. Select Next and continue filling out your template. Notice that you can upload your photo here. You can also enter your Commission number and state if you wish.
4 Modify the text on this page to reflect your own information, then click Next. To enter a service, select the service(s) you offer one at a time and click the Add Service link after each selection. After each addition, there will be a field appear for fees. If you wish, you can list fees here.
5 Continue on to the next section and complete by selecting the Add New Testimonial link. Be sure to select the Save link on the right side before moving on When satisfied with this page, click Next. Then enter any certifications you might have such as APN&CSA or NNA and check off the applicable resources boxes. When finished, click on the Next button to continue.
6 You can change your contact address here or keep what you have listed earlier. Now is when you will select the domain. Click on Next and the next page allows you to preview your site and change your template. If you have purchased your website as part of a Gold Notary Package and you made that purchase with a credit card either on-line or in a class, you need to find the receipt in your which shows the Transaction ID for that purchase. If you cannot find your Transaction ID, call us at for assistance. In any case, you will use the link Click here to purchase your site. even though you have already purchased it. The next screen will allow you to input the Transaction ID or your credit card information if you did not yet purchase the site.
7 The purpose of entering your Transaction ID is to automatically enable your site. Either enter your Transaction ID and Submit to have your site automatically enabled or call to obtain your Transaction ID If our staff needs to manually enable your site, simply select Logout to finish. You have the option of editing your information by entering your Username and Password on the left-hand fields at under Existing Users. To access your site, once it has been enabled (either automatically with your Transaction ID or manually by our staff) you can view your site. For example:
8 Now you can set up your ! Begin by ensuring that your website is up and running. Then, using an existing account, send a message to your new address. We will use that message to verify that you have set up your correctly. Your new address will be yourusername@theselecteddomain.com For example, suppose Daniel Jones selected the website and selected djones as his website username. His website would then be found at and the address would be djones@notarysociety.com. When you first created your website, you selected a password. That password will be the same for your address. You can have it ed to you if you have forgotten the password or call us at Once your website is functional, you are ready to set up your address. First, open up an client such as Outlook and create a new account by selecting TOOLS > ACCOUNT SETTINGS > NEW.
9 Enter your information beginning with your name, new address and password you entered in when you set up your website. Be sure to select the box that says Manually configure server settings.

12 If you have a failure message check the following: 1) Are you sure that you are connected to the internet? Can you access other accounts or Google.com? 2) Check to ensure that your settings are set to POP or POP3 and not IMAP. If your client automatically selected other settings, delete the account and start over. You will need to interrupt the program when it is trying to automatically set your defaults. You must set up your client manually using the settings below. (Please note that the Outgoing mail server can be different and will not affect incoming mail). 3) Ensure that the address you put in under User Information is correct and that the User Name under Logon Information uses your entire address. 4) Ensure that your password is correct. 5) If it still is not working, go to and put in your address and password.
