WINDOW XP: Detailed install instructions (Level 3 instructions) These instructions are written from the perspective of someone who has very minimal computer skills.

Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft therefore it requires a much more manual process to setup compared to Windows 7 and Windows 8.

Do not ignore any security pop ups. Read and understand what they are requesting. Not to do so may prevent the CPM from running.

1 WINDOW XP: Detailed install instructions (Level 3 instructions) These instructions are written from the perspective of someone who has very minimal computer skills. It is a detailed step by step process in screenshot format using Firefox web browser. Other browsers will have slightly different formats but the steps are the same. Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft therefore it requires a much more manual process to setup compared to Windows 7 and Windows 8. Before beginning have the person who has the admin password for the computer or network with you when setting up the file. You may need it depending on the security rules of the customer s network. Do not ignore any security pop ups. Read and understand what they are requesting. Not to do so may prevent the CPM from running. Step 1: Log into your CW Print Manager panel If you have already created the project at your Panel/Dashboard and are already at the you sent the project to, start at page 2 step 6 of this document. Step 2: Click on Create Project Page 1 of 23 Step 3: A) Name the project that will make it easy for you to identify the customer in your Panel. B) The address to where you want the project sent. To yourself, an associate or end customer. C) Click on Create Project This project is unique. Do not use it in any other customer then for the one you have created it for.

2 Step 4: This Congratulation notice should appear after submission for project creation Step 5: Now go to your and open. Step 6: Open and reduce the size of the window in which it appears on your computer but do not minimize. Step 7: Before Downloading CPM you need to create a folder. o to My Computer Page 2 of 23

3 Step 8: Click on Local Disk (C:) Step 9: Click on Make a new folder Step 10: Name the folder. Absolutely NO spaces are to be in the title of this folder. Example; CPMPizzabobs Once names click on it to open Page 3 of 23

4 Step 11: Once open reduce the size of the window. Do not minimize it. Have it appear similar to this on your desktop screen. You will note the folders name in the address Step 12: If you have WinRar already installed on this computer you can move to Step 13 below. If is not, click on WinRar download. If you feel you need instructions on the steps to download WinRar go to page 22, step 1B. Setting up the CPM on the computer Step 13: o to and click on Download CPM Page 4 of 23

and open it to find the CPM file. Move file to the folder you created in your C drive.

5 Step 14: Choose Save File and click OK Step 15: o to Download arrow and click on it. CPM 2.4 will drop down. NOTE: With other browsers you may not have a download button and may need to go to the download folder or tab and open it to find the CPM file. Move file to the folder you created in your C drive. Step 16: Click on the CPM 2.4 file and hold, drag and drop into the folder you have created and left open in your C drive. Page 5 of 23

6 Step 17: Now your CPM zip file is in your folder. Now double click on the file Step 18: Double Click on CPM 2.6 Step 19: Click on Extract To Page 6 of 23

CPM (Cloud Printing Monitor) is a software program designed by NubePrint to monitor all types of printing devices plugged connected to a LAN. You can download this file for free by registering into MyPrinterCloud service ( It is convenient to schedule an automatic execution of CPM, so that the recurrent tasks are executed with no manual intervention from the user. Following are a set of instructions on how to schedule the execution of CPM. 1) Control Panel Access «Control Panel» and select «Scheduled Tasks». Your view of the Control Panel window may be presented in an unfamiliar format. Below you will find three formats in which it can be presented.
