1 Pg. 1 of 16 These instructions are written from the perspective of someone who has very minimal computer skills. It is a detailed step by step process in screenshot format using Firefox web browser. Other browsers will have slightly different formats but the steps are the same. Before beginning have the person who has the administrative rights and password for the computer/network when setting up this file. You may need it depending on the security rules of the customer s network. Do not ignore any security pop ups. Read and understand what they are requesting. Not to do so may prevent the CPM from running automatically. Step 1: Log into your CW Print Manager panel If you have already created the project at your Panel/Dashboard and are already at the you sent the project to, start at page 2 step 6 of this document. Step 2: Click on Create Project Step 3: A) Name the project that will make it easy for you to identify the customer in your Panel. B) The address to where you want the project sent. To yourself, an associate or end customer. C) Click on Create Project This project is unique. Do not use it in any other customer then for the one you it created for. Page 1 of 16

2 Pg. 2 of 16 Step 4: This notice should appear after submission for project creation Step 5: Now go to your and open. Step 6: Open and reduce the size of the window in which it appears on your computer but do not minimize. Page 2 of 16

3 Pg. 3 of 16 Step 7: Before Downloading CPM you need to create a folder. Go to My Computer Step 8: Click on OS (C:) Step 9: Click on New folder Page 3 of 16

4 WINDOW 7 & 8: Detailed install instruction ns Pg. 4 of 16 Step 10: Name the folder. Absolutely NO spaces are to be in the title of this folder. Example; CPMPizzabobs. Once named, open folder. Step 11: Once open, reduce the size of the window. Do not minimize it. Have it appear similar to this on your desktop screen. You will note the folders name in the address window Step 12: If you have WinRar already installed on this computer you can move to Step 13 on page 6 below. IF NOT, download WinRar. If you need some guidance on the download process go to page 15 for instructions. Page 4 of 16

5 Pg. 5 of 16 Setting up the CPM on the computer: Step 13: Go to and click on Download CPM Step 14: Choose Save File and click OK Step 15: Go to Download arrow and click on it. CPM 2.6 will drop down. NOTE: With other browsers you may not have a download button and may need to go to the download folder or tab and open it to find the CPM file. Move file to the folder you created in your OS (C:) drive. Page 5 of 16

6 Pg. 6 of 16 Step 16: Click on the CPM 2.4 file and hold, drag and drop into the folder you have created and left open in your C drive. Step 17: Now your CPM zip file is in your folder. Now double click on the file Step 18: Double Click on CPM 2.6 Page 6 of 16

7 Pg. 7 of 16 Step 19: Click on Extract To Step 20: Click on OK Step 21: Now close window and go to the CPM folder you created in your C drive. Page 7 of 16

8 Pg. 8 of 16 Step 22: Go to the folder you created for your project. It should be open on your desktop. Double click on folder Step 23: Double click on Setup If this Security Warning pops up, go to page 11, step 1A for further instructions. Depending upon other Security software the customer s may have, it may ask for you to create an exception for the program. Do not ignore them. If no Security Warning pop up appears at all move to step 25 below. Page 8 of 16

9 Pg. 9 of 16 Step 24: Click on Ok Note: If you get an Error message after you click Ok you most likely have a computer that has XP as the operating system and will need to follow the XP install instructions. Step 25: Please read to confirm that CPM was set up successfully. If so click OK Step 26: Click on the Start when the Birdy window appears. Page 9 of 16

11 Pg. 11 of 16 STEPS TO ADDRESS SECURITY WARNING SHOULD IT APPEAR IN SET UP PROCESS (Pg. 1 of 4) Step 1A: If this Security Warning pops up, or a similar security warning, uncheck the box and then click on Run Depending upon the Security software in place you may have a slightly different process and different pop ups windows. Do not ignore them. Step 2A: A Birdy window will appear. Do not click on start at this point. CLICK on Silent Page 11 of 16

Then click on Open Again depending on the Security program the process may occur slightly different OR this step may not appear at all. Page 12 of 16

It will let you know if it is not compatible. Then choose the other. You only have two choices 32bit or 62 bit. Step 2B: Click on Save File Step 3B: 1 st Click on download button, folder or tab depending upon the browser. Then double click on WRaR file to execute Page 15 of 16
