2 RioPlayer RioPlayer is a software with the focus on computer based assessment by watching videos offline, which any student can do at his/her own pace. The software is loaded with some unique features which will help you in individual assessment. Download Setup Firstly user needs to download the RioPlayer Setup from the link given below. Paste this link into your browser & press Enter. It will open the page where user can see the GET IT button. Click on that button. 3 Enter your name, Id & Phone number and click on the button Claim for free. It will open another page. Click on the Download button. The Downloading will start. You can see your downloaded file in the Downloads folder. Installation Double click on that setup file. The setup installation will start. 6 Double click on this icon. Click on Yes when asking for User Account Control to open the RioPlayer. The RioPlayer will get open as shown below. Remote Access If Student has some technical issue then need to call technical support team. Then our team will ask you to download one of the Remote Access softwares such as Team Viewer / DeskGate / Ammyy Admin. Then you have to click on Remote Access Menu. It will open pop-up for Access Password. 7 User can also open the video after double clicking on the video given to them by the classes. Here, User will see 4 main tabs as Playlists, Now Playing, Settings & Remote Access. 1] Playlists- Here user can add the video files, save in the playlist, remove the added videos. 2] Now Playing- In this tab, initially user will see blank page & shows message as Nothing to see here. 3] Settings- In the settings tab, user will see the activation key details, option to change the theme color in appearance. 8 Playlists section 1] Click on the Playlists section, click on the Tracks sub-section. Here user will see some options for adding the videos. Simply click on the Add Files option. It will open a new window to browse the video files. 7 P a g e w w w. r e c o r d s h i e l d. n e t

9 2] Click on the folder, in which the Rio videos are copied from the classes. User will see the list of all videos for browsing. After that press Ctrl+A to add all the Videos in the playlist. 10 3] Double click on the video in the playlist to play the video. If that product is not registered on that computer, it will show the message that your product is not registered. 11 4] This step is parallel to the step 3 mentioned above. After double clicking the video, given by the classes, it will open it in the RioPlayer. Firstly it will show the IMPORT TRACK window to add the video in the default playlist. Select the desired options as Remember that video in the playlist & Also After Restart. Then click on Add button. It will add that video in the playlist. Here also if that product is not registered on that computer, it will show the message that your product is not registered. 12 5] Now, here it will show the Author Name, product Name & Machine Key. Enter the Serial Key given by the classes on the Pen Drive/ Hard Disk, leave the space in the field of Activation Key, Enter your Full Name, Id & Mobile Number in the given fields. 13 6] Click on the button Register Online and wait for 10 seconds. Message will show as Registration Successful. After that it will show the message as below. This message contains the Video views & remaining duration of that video. Views: Select the views from the dropdown as desired. Here Views means the count defined as how many times the user can open & close the same video. Here I selects as 50. 14 Duration: Select the Watch Time for the video. This decides the limited length of the video which user can see. Ex. 1.8 times, the user can see the video at time length limited at 1.8 times the original length. 7] Now Playing Section: Click on OK button. It will start the video. 15 (1) Seek Bar: Here, user will see the progress of the video from starting to the end of the video. User can also forward the video by dragging the seek bar position to its desired position. (2) Timer: Here also user can see the exact progress of the video with the help of its timer. (3) Shuffle Playlist button: Here, user can shuffle the playlist sequence by clicking on the button no. 3 as shown in above screenshot. (4) Go Backward: After clicking on this button, it will open the previous video from the playlist. (5) Play/Pause: If the video is in playing state, it will show the Pause button. After clicking on the Pause button, it will pause the video. Also when video is paused & clicking on Play button, it will start the video from the position where it is paused. (6) Go Forward: After clicking on this button, it will open the Next video from the playlist. (7) Stop: After clicking on Stop button, the video gets stopped & if the user clicks on Play button, it will starts form the initial position. (8) Full Screen: After clicking on Full Screen button, it will show the video in the full screen as below. After clicking on the Resize button as shown as above, it will restore the window & video size. 16 It has options as Fill, None, Uniform & UniformToFill. After selecting the Fill option, it will show the video in Full Screen mode but with all options as Play, Pause & all other. (10) Reset Speed: Here, user can reset the speed of the video. (11) Speed change Option: Here, user can change the speed of the running video with the help of slider, shown as No. 11 in the screenshot. Besides that, a button of reset the speed of that video. (12) Volume: User can change the volume with the help of slider shown as no. 12. Settings Section In this section, it will show the activation key, registration date, expiry date, views, watch time, serial key, product key. 17 Some additional Features 1] Add Directories: With this option, user can browse the folder of the video files as shown below. Click on the Playlists section, click on Tracks sub-section. Select the option as Add directories. It will open a window to browse the folder as below. Click on the Browse button as highlighted, select the Video files folder & click on Select Folder button. 18 2] Remove the Tracklist: Here, if user wants to remove all the videos from playlist, then select all videos by Ctrl+A & Right click on those videos. It will show the last option as Remove.
