2 Pages, Numbers & Keynote are designed to create beautiful documents, spreadsheets & presentations. They are Apple s alternative to Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point and uniquely DIFFERENT from Microsoft Office for Mac. Pages provides an easy way to create outstanding documents using either a plethora of templates or using your own creative talents!

3 A Canvas for Creativity Start with a great-looking template. Use photos, math equations, charts, shapes, images etc. in your document to communicate beautifully. Add audio clips and sounds for people to play in your documents. Collaborate with friends etc. Easily share with others.

5 Work with ipad, iphone Documents you create on your Mac laptop or desktop computer will appear the same on your ipad and iphone! Make changes and save them on any device and you will find them on ALL your devices via icloud Drive.

6 icloud Drive Briefly Lets you securely access all of your documents from your iphone, ipad, ipod touch, Mac, and Windows PC Update your iphone, ipad, or ipod touch to the lates IOS and your Mac to the latest macos. Use the SAME Apple ID on all devices. Set up icloud on all devices and turn on icloud Drive.

7 On your iphone, ipad, and ipod touch Go to Settings > your name. Tap icloud. Swipe to turn on icloud Drive. You can find your icloud Drive files in the Files app. If you're using ios 10 or ios 9, tap Settings > icloud > icloud Drive. Turn on icloud Drive, and tap Show on Home Screen. Then you'll find your files in the icloud Drive app.

8 On Your Mac Go to Apple menu > System Preferences and select icloud. Sign in with your Apple ID, if you need to. Select icloud Drive. On your Mac, you can find the files on your Desktop and in your Documents folder in Finder under icloud.

9 How to Turn on Desktop and Documents Turn on Desktop and Documents on every Mac that you want to use with icloud Drive. From your Mac, go to Apple menu > System Preferences > icloud. Make sure that icloud Drive is turned on. Next to icloud Drive, click Options. Choose Desktop & Documents Folders. Click Done.

10 How to Access icloud Drive On your Mac, go to icloud Drive in Finder. On your iphone, ipad or ipod touch with ios 11 or later, access from the Files app. On ios 9 or 10, access from the icloud Drive app. Access at icloud.com using any web browser.

21 Save Documents that you create in your own My Templates file. Access these in the same way you access other Templates. Find and add additional Templates from apple.com or other websites.

22 Microsoft Word Friendly Save Pages documents as Word files. Import and edit Word documents right in Pages. Most popular Word features are supported. Check for specific feature compatibility on Apple s website. Almost ALL basic features are compatible or easy to manage.

23 To open a Word file from Pages, simply open it as though it is a Pages file and when done editing it will prompt you to save as a Pages file. If it s an attachment, click and drag it to the Pages icon in the dock. If you don t have Word installed it will save to Pages automatically. When sending a Word file, do a quick export (below)
