1 Reconfiguring System to Correct Config ID on Citation M2 Garmin G3000 Software Version 10 Caution: Caution: Caution: Caution: Note: Before starting the software or configuration loading process, certain items may be required to be recorded first, to prevent loss of information or settings. See Section 1 for details. Make certain that all SD cards are available before starting. These are usually located in a blue pouch onboard the aircraft (usually in AFM). Follow all steps in a given section for specific loadings. Failure to do so will result in probable rework. Ensure that power is available through a GPU so that power is not interrupted during the loading process. This document is to supplement, not replace, the Cessna Citation M2 MM, and Garmin G3000 LMM. 2 Introduction G3000 System Familiarization When in configuration mode, select GDU controls on left side of GTC 1. Ensure that PFD 1 is selected on the screen. The dual concentric knobs on the lower right bezel will be utilized, and throughout this document will be referred to as the FMS small and large knob. The Enter button will be in the lower right part of the screen. As an alternative, you can use the dual concentric knobs (labeled PFD) and Enter button on the GCU-275 controller mounted above PFD 1. Note: Before any work is started, it is important to export the current crew profile to the crew profile SD card. This will restore the pilot preferences (does not include pilot saved waypoints), so that the aircraft is returned to the customer as close as to the same as possible. This card is located in a pouch with all the other SD cards for the Garmin system, and is usually found in the AFM for safe keeping. See section 1 on how to perform this export procedure. 2
3 Section 1 Preliminary Steps Prior to Software & Configuration Loading Saving Crew Profiles 1) First it is necessary to save any customer crew profiles to prevent loss of the settings. From the Home screen on the GTC570, select Utilities. Select Crew Profile. If there are any profiles besides the Default, then they need to be exported to the Crew Profile SD card. Note: The Default crew profile is already on the Crew Profile SD card, and does not need to be exported. If it is the only profile, then no other steps in this section is necessary. 2) Remove the Diagnostics SD card from the upper slot of the MFD. 3) Insert the Crew Profile SD card into the upper slot of the MFD. 4) The crew profiles need to be exported to the SD card: From the Home screen on the GTC570, select Utilities. Select Crew Profile. Select the first saved crew profile. Select Export. 5) Repeat step 4 for any other saved crew profiles. 6) These will be reinstalled later to reload the customer s preferences. 7) Remove the Crew Profile SD card from the upper slot of the MFD. 8) Insert the Diagnostics SD card into the upper slot of the MFD. 3

32 Appendix A Configuration ID / CRC Numbers This section will provide details on determining the correct configuration ID or CRC number for a particular M2 aircraft based on the installed options. Through the rest of this section the number will be referred to as a CRC number for simplification. Note: Radar trims that are not at zero for both pitch and roll will cause the number to be different. Ensure they are at zero before verification. Note: Once the CRC number is verified, then the radar trims can be adjusted to the original values. See section 6 for details. Every combination of options that have been ordered or delivered is listed. If you have an aircraft that has been modified in the field that now has a combination not listed, please contact Team M2 at teamm2@txtav.com. Each option is assigned a letter to ensure accuracy when comparing the combination of options to the final number. Options Single GSR 56 (includes GDL 59) --A-- Dual GSR 56 (includes GDL 59) B GDL 69 C WX-1000 Stormscope D Becker ADF E GDR 66 F HF 9000 G Cabin Briefing H GSR 56 Weather K DME 2 M Unlock Cards Synthetic Vision (SVS) N TAWS Class A P TCAS II R Windshear S Doppler & Turbulence T CPDLC V Example: Aircraft has Single GSR, GDL 69, Becker ADF, GDR 66, GSR 56 Weather, SVS, and TCAS II.
