2 The Media Page is similar to the First Responders Page, but it is enhanced specifically for the media and news outlets. The Media Page is similar in look and function with some limitations. Media partners with pre-approved access are able to view live video feeds from the state or region s CCTV cameras. Like the First Responders Page, media partners are able to create a virtual video wall and customize tours. Additonally, the Media Page features an autohide enhancement on the video wall, which hides the toolbar at the top of the page. Via the Video Management Page, administrators are able to halt streams to the public and media but keep active for First Responders when necessary.

3 Go to the Media Page by navigating to the website below: Login to the Media Page with issued user credentials. PAGE 1

4 If you have forgotten your password, click the link I forgot my password located under the Sign in button. On the Password Recovery page, enter the username or account address in the contact field, and then click the Verify Username button. Once username is found, click the Send password button. You will then receive an with a temporary password. PAGE 2

5 Once a user has logged in to the Media Page, a default view is displayed on the virtual video wall. The default view is displayed in a 2x2 format. PAGE 3

6 Many functional features are located at the top of the Media Page. Sign Out - The user can click the Sign Out button to sign out of the Media Page. Change Password - The user can click the Change Password button to go to a page to change current password to a new password. Drop Down box - The user can select from all views the user has created. Set as default - The user can set the current view as the default view to run on login. Manage Video Wall - The user can create or modify views. PAGE 4

7 Each camera stream in the Video Wall features functions to pause video, play video, and maximize the video to view in full screen. PAGE 5

8 To access the Video Wall Manager, click the Manage Video Wall button. PAGE 6

9 In the following slides, the Video Wall Manager portal is displayed. The user will have access to create new views, edit, copy or delete existing views. For each view, the user can manage camera streams and display dimensions for each view. Create New Video Wall- The user can create a new view and customize with specific camera streams. Load Video Wall - The user can exit the page and return to the video wall to see selected view. PAGE 7

10 Video Wall Name The user can customize tour with a unique and recognizable name. Specific to the Media Page, there are three preset views available to choose from: 1x1, 2x2, and 3x3. PAGE 8

11 Number of Rows - The user can choose the number of rows to display on the video wall. Number of Columns - The user can choose the number of columns to display on the video wall. Set as Default Video Wall The user can set the current video wall as default, which means every time the user logs in, the video wall will be displayed. Save Changes The user will need to click Save Changes in order to save customizations. PAGE 9

12 To create a new video wall, click the Create New Video Wall button under the Video Wall Manager section. Enter a video wall name. Select a preset or number of rows and columns for the view. You can also set the video wall as default view. The next time you log in to the Media Page, that video wall will be the default video wall displayed on the virtual video wall. PAGE 10

13 Browse through the available views to add camera streams to the tour. PAGE 11

14 Once you ve located a camera stream to add to the view, drag and drop the camera stream into the pane on the right in order of display preference. PAGE 12

15 Once a camera stream has been added to the view, it will display a green border. PAGE 13

16 To remove or replace a camera stream in a view, the user can drag and drop the camera stream to the recycle bins on either side of the pane, or drag and drop a camera stream on top of an existing camera stream to replace it. Once a camera stream has been moved to the recycle bin or replaced by another camera stream, the green border will no longer appear. PAGE 14

17 The Media Page also features a Search function to assist in finding specific camera streams. In the Search box, enter in a search string in the search field (example: McMullen). Then, click the Search button. All matches will be displayed as camera streams below. PAGE 15

18 The view must be given a name, and all phase windows must be allocated with a video stream in order for the new video wall to be saved. An error will occur if an empty phase window is left blank. PAGE 16

19 Click the Save Changes button to save the new view. The new view will automatically load on the virtual video wall. PAGE 17

20 To set the new view as the default view, click the Set as default button. To choose another view, click the drop down button and select an alternate view. Click the Manage Video Wall button to return to the Video Wall Manager portal. PAGE 18

21 To edit a view, click the Edit button. The view will be highlighted in yellow to indicate edit mode. Make any changes, and click the Save Changes button. To copy a view, click the Copy button. Make any changes, and click the Save Changes button. To delete a view, click the Delete button. PAGE 19
