Step 1: Evaluate Diffuser & Pump Placement Find the best place to tap HVAC ductwork (Diffuser Location) Make sure you tap the main duct, past the air

4 Step 1: Evaluate Diffuser & Pump Placement Find the best place to tap HVAC ductwork (Diffuser Location) Make sure you tap the main duct, past the air handler. Keep in mind that the line can be tapped at a point that avoids vents in small spaces like administration offices. (This is important to avoid over scenting a decision makers workspace.) If you only want to scent a portion of the area that the air handler covers, find the branch in the duct that covers your target area to install the diffuser. Step 2: Mount Top & Back Plate Diffuser (T&B) or 4Ltr. Drum Bracket Mount the bracket or T&B diffuser no more than 30 inches below the air duct. (See Diagrams 1-3) The insertion point in the duct must be located above the diffuser. The black hose must be vertical from the diffuser to the air duct. Step 3: Install the Pump Unit Placement options Hang it inside ceiling.

5 Step 3: Install the Pump Unit Placement options Hang it inside ceiling. (See Diagram 4) Place on L brackets. (See Diagram 5) Place on firm surface. (See Diagram 6) Diagram 5 Diagram 4 Attach power supply to pump Attach air hose to pump box Step 4-Run Air Hose (clear hose) from the Pump to the Diffuser Diagram 6 Make sure there are no kinks in the hose line Attach air hose to diffuser: If T&B diffuser- Screw bottle into bottom of diffuser. Attach clear air hose to push to connect on side. (See Diagram 7) If 4 Liter Drum-Screw diffuser to top of drum and place in bracket. Attach air hose to push to connect on side of diffuser. Diagram 7 Before proceeding to next step turn pump box on to make sure unit is diffusing. 3

Step 5-Inserting Hose from Diffuser Into Air Duct

6 Step 5-Inserting Hose from Diffuser Into Air Duct Push screwdriver into air duct. (See Diagram 8) If screwdriver goes through and air starts to flow out go to step 5B. Diagram 8 If you find a metal frame under insulation, go to step 5A. 5A-Cut a door shaped opening to expose metal duct. (See Diagram 9) Diagram 9 Drill a 1/4 inch hole the duct at the tap point. [Use recommended drill bit] (See Diagram 10-11) Diagram 10 Diagram 11 Insert black hose 2-3 inches into the duct. Use foil tape to secure hose in place. (See Diagram 12-13) Close insulation around black hose and use foil tape to seal insulation and hose in place. (See Diagram 14) 5B-Insert black hose 2-3 inches into the duct Use foil tape and create an L shape, stick to one side of black hose and duct. 7 Step 6- Connect Black Hose to Diffuser. Top and Back Plate- Slide black hose over hose barb until secure. (See Diagram 17) 4-Ltr. Drum Diffuser- Push black hose into push to connect on the top of the diffuser. Diagram 17 Step 7- Program the Timer & Adjust the Output Settings In both of the following modes the View Setting button is used to move you through the different settings. A Mode It runs a continuous misting cycle for the unit to run 24 hours, seven days a week. Programming A Mode (Timer programs in minutes and seconds, mm:ss) Step 1: When plugging in unit, timer will default to A mode. Step 2: Press View Setting button until green Mist On LED illuminates. Step 3: Press the Change Setting Up/Down button to adjust the desired misting On time. Step 4: Press View Setting button until red Mist Off LED illuminates. Step 5: Press the Change Setting Up/Down button to adjust the desired Off time. NOTE: The unit is preprogrammed not to be adjusted less than 10 seconds Off time. Step 6: Press Power button to activate settings (A mode LED will remain illuminated). B Mode It enables the daily programming of the unit. To enter B mode press and hold Power button for 5 seconds until B mode LED Illuminates. NOTE: When releasing Power button, B mode light will turn Off but unit is still in B mode. 5

8 Setting Misting Time Step 1: Press View Setting button until green Mist On LED illuminates (mm:ss) Step 2: Press the Change Setting Up/Down button to adjust the desired misting On time. Step 3: Press View Setting button 1 time red Mist Off LED will illuminate. Step 4: Press the Change Setting Up/Down button to adjust the desired Off time. Setting Current Time & Day Step 1: Press View Setting button 1 time ( Current Time LED should illuminate). Step 2: Press the Change Setting Up/Down button to program current time and day. NOTE: A.M. LED will illuminate on the upper left hand side of display. Setting Daily Begin/End Times To set every day of the week the same: Step 1: Press the View Setting 1 time, every day of the week will light (Green Begin LED will illuminate). Step 2: Press the Change Setting Up Arrow button and scroll to desired Begin time. Step 3: Press the View Setting button 1 time every day of the week will light (Red End LED will illuminate). Step 4: Press the Change Setting Up Arrow button and scroll to desired End time. Step 5: Press the View Setting button one time and repeat steps 1-3 to program Begin and End settings if you wish to change an individual day of the week. NOTE: Press View Setting button twice to skip a day of the week, if desired. Step 5: When finished programming daily Begin and End times, press View Setting button once. Mist Countdown cycle will appear. NOTE: Mist countdown cycle will appear on display. Step 6: Press Power button to activate settings ( B mode LED will remain illuminated.) NOTE: If you would like the unit to not run on a specific day set On and Off time the same. 6
